Good Morning Botters:
They say that confessing is good for the soul so I am confessing that I ate two minature hershey bars yesterday. Yes, they were good and yes they are a favorite of mine. Did they send me into a tail spin and I started eating everything in site, no. Holidays are hard on the best of us and if you come through with a few pounds up then you will get them back off. If you are able to maintain then hallelujah and if you lose, Wow, Awesome, out of this world!!!! We are human folks, watch, be aware, and don't skate to close to the thin ice and when at the buffet table take one and move on. Life is suppose to be enjoyable, especially at the holidays. Enjoy, but just don't go overboard!
My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
2nd Breakfast: Oatmeal
Snack: Fiber One Bar
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: 1/2 Granola Bar
Dinner: Veggie Chili
Snack: Deep Chocolate Vitatop
Exercise: Bike
Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.
My goal for the holiday is to simply maintain where I'm at. I'm planning on enjoying my time with family more than normal. We've got an ugly sweater party planned while we're with David's family. He's one of 8 kids....it's guaranteed to be a hoot.
The plan for today:
commute: Coffeee
Breakfast: Protein Bar (not a great idea --too sweet and has set me up to snack)
snack: Grapes
Lunch: Chicken Vegetable soup
Dinner: Grilled Salmon & mixed vegetables
Dessert: Starbucks
Going to the mall with my boys tonight to get the last few ideas for them. So lots of walking plannned. It's horrid outside today---cold, raining, foggy. Just plain yucky. If I can stick to the plan 100% the rest of the day then there may be a peppermint mocha from starbucks on the dessert menu.

Morning. I have had a bad case of the carb monster! I leave for Disneyland next week and need to figure out how to avoid all the yummy treats..... This will be the first time I have gone and truly cared about what I'm eating. AND this is the first time around Christmas so everything will be extra yummy.....
My eats today
b: coffee with hot cocoa and creamer, 1 cup cereal with 1/2 milk
s: string cheese
l: salad
s: protein shake
d: 2 grilled chicken strips, 1/4c rice-a-roni, small salad
already got my water ready and took most of my vitamins. I plan on cleaning and sewing while the little one nap, so plan to keep the munchies at bay..... Have a great day!
You can safely walk around Disneyland with one of those 3 lb. turkey legs but what ever you do stay away from the hot buttered croissant rolls. Those are a killer but they are the bomb to eat! I also, bought a 1/4 pound of fudge but divided 3 ways (actually 4, I was pregnant at the time)! I hope you have an awesome trip!!
Good afternoon BOTTs.
I'll just go ahead and blurt it out, true confession time for me too. I let the carb "*****" monster take over for a bit yesterday...almost like I gave it permission to comfort myself....the dreaded Cheez-Its, straight from the box! I'm not gonna stress over it....lots bigger fish to fry right now. The binge is over, and the box isn't even empty. Success? Ish?
Breakfast: Coffee
Snack: Imitation crab meat "sticks" (4)
Lunch: 2 oz ham, bite of sweet potato
Snack: banana
Dinner: probably soup
I hope you all have a good evening.
