Throw another log on the fire.  We should be around that temp by tomorrow evening.  Stay inside and keep warm.  We are suppose to get mostly ice.  1994 was our last ice storm and we were without power for 5 days.  That was a pain in the arse!

2 hour fog delay for the schools here this monring. It was thick. Ugghhh...Yall know I need my sunshine...even if it's cold and windy. I'm hoping it'll try and peak out later today.  Waysta ---I think you need more coffee on your menu. There's no way I could keep warm in those temps.

Does anybody want a 21 year old? I've got one I'll gladly give you this morning. He's really gotten on my nerves. Not only has he ticked me off but he's woke up the sleeping carb monster....I'd really like to be an emotional eater all day long. Oh the joys of parenthood.

As long as I stay away from the vending machine today's the plan is going to be:

commute: coffee

Breakfast:  Peanut butter on whole wheat toast

Lunch:  Progresso Soup from my work drawer

snack:  Apple & Cheese stick

Dinner:  Chili (with cheese & sour cream)

Lots of decaf tea and (weather permitting) a walk at lunch time.

Yall have a good day. Mine's getting there.

Iris:  I have an 18 year old that does it for me.  You will have to pass your 21 year old to someone else!  Every time you think of the vending machine pop a piece of gum in your mouth or drink half a glass of tea at one time.  It will ease the need of the b*tch/carb monster.......

Good morning BOTT friends

Waysta...I need to be where you are now.  It's in the "balmy 60's" here and I just can't stand it!!!  I'm a winter baby, and my favorite days are COLD, preferably with snow.  No warm and sunny days for me (unless I'm going fishing  =)   We started our late fall with snow on Dec 4 in 2010 with a great "white Christmas" that year.  Praying to the snow gods for a REPEAT PERFORMANCE this year!

Shelia ---I'll do a snow dance for us to get some snow here in our area...as long as it's enough that I don't need to be on the road for anything. These folks CANNOT drive on wet roads let alone snow and ice. Nothing brings on a raid to our grocery stores like the mention of snow. I'm always amazed at how many loaves of bread people snatch off the shelves. Honestly you'd think they've never seen the bagged stuff before.

Tess...I hope you're right :)

Iris...I stay out of the supermarkets when they mention snow.  Why?  Because the stuff doesn't stay on the ground long enough to shake a stick at, so there's no need to hoard food and hunker down unless theres a power outage and you can't cook.  As far as driving, now that's another story.  Panicky people should just stay home, but that's not always possible I know.  I learned how to drive in hazardous weather because as a nurse, I couldn't just stay at home...I was expected to come in no matter what.  And it was great because by the time I went in (I worked the night shift) the road was all mine!  Going home the next day though...duck, dodge and LOOK OUT!   mail
