Back On Track Together
taking vitamins
im trying to get myself back on track to lose the 50 pounds ive put on in the last 2 years.mainly due to some major health issues and inmobility.. i was never one to take the vitamins lke we shouldve done so i was wondering if any of you take your multi or any other vits at night to stay in your system longer?
This is my Vitamin Regiment.
7:00 AM Multi Vitamin 600 mg and Iron Pill 63 mg
10:00 AM Magnesium Oxide 400 mg and Calcium 600 mg
12:00 PM Multi Vitamin 600 mg and B12 Sublingual 500 mg.
3:00 PM Calcium 600 mg and Vitamin D3 Dry (I take this only once a week as mine are 50,000 I.U.)
9:00 PM Calcium 600 mg
I have taken Vitamin K, Potassium and Zinc if my labs get low in any of these vitamins. I just take them with what vitamin will interact with them well.
I have my labs drawn yearly and they have been great especially in the past 4 years.
I also take Miralax in my coffee every morning to keep the pipes working well and my Lexapro to keep me working well!
I take most of mine in the morning (multi-vitamin, D3, B12, calcium). Then take my additional iron in the evenings.
I've always been good about taking my mutli-vitamin but this past year it became painfully obvious that it wasn't enough. Now I've had a series of iron infusions, nearly tripled my D3 dosage to get my labs up to "normal" and doubled my B12.
Now I'm having labs drawn ever 4 months....because of vision changes, joint pain, fatigue, restless leg, irritability, depression, hair & skin changes.
