Happy Hump Day Botters:
I woke up to a balmy 62 degrees with southern winds and a high today of 72 degrees. The weather man is telling me we will have sleet and ice on Friday with high temps around 35 degrees and falling. Wow! What a weather turn around. I am keeping my eye on Texas because they are usually about two days ahead of my weather and North Carolina is about two days after my weather. My official menu plan for today is as follows:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax (always)
2nd Breakfast: Oatmeal
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Fiber One Bar
Dinner: Veggie Sausage, eggs and wheat toast (Yummy!)
Snack: Deep Chocolate Vitatop
Exercise: Bike
I hope everybody has a lovely "hump" day and remembers to take their vits and fluids. And, for our fellow bloggers in the upper states that have already gotten the snow and cold, please stay in and stay warm....
Started out wet and cool here this morning but it supposed to make it up to 60. I'll take it. I was talking to a friend in Michigan last night and I'm very thankful for NC's crazy weather. At the very least, I have no need for a snow shovel or chains on my tires.
I've got the vitamins in and working on the tea. I'm limiting today's activity to stair climbing tonight for Christmas decorations. Between what's up in the attic and down in the garage...I should be exhausted by the time I get everything drug into the living room. Can't wait to see how my little elves decide to use the boxes of decorations. Our 9 year old has a flair for the decorating. She will rearrange it continually until it suits her. Gotta love it.
Today's plan is looking like:
Commute: coffee
Breakfast: Multigrain cheerios
Lunch: Crockpot Salisbury Steak (smells good in here!!!)
snack: coffee
snack #2: cheese stick and peanuts
Dinner: Pork Chops & green beans
Yall have a great day.

my eats for today.
breakfast...coffee/miralax. Plus an apple
lunch.........ham and laughing cow cheese....veggies
snack........apple or pear
dinner........homemade soup and crackers
snack.........protein shake
Ya'll have a great day !!
I just checked the freezer and pantry this morning to make sure I have everything on hand for a large pot of soup for the weekend.
I was thinking the same thing about the daily weather thread....it's just another litle something that seems to bring us together.

I knew you would give me an update! What ever you get, I seem to get it two days later. Not looking forward to the cold or the snow, though usually we get sleet and ice and no snow. Looks like my Saturday is not going be good for shopping. I may go ahead and start baking pies and freeze them for our upcoming parties. Have a good day.
Good morning BOTTs.
Still having the same weather here, the only difference is the mornings are quite chilly. My horses greet me for their breakfast with "smoke" coming out of their noses. I need to break out the crock pot and make some chili beans with shredded chicken. I wish I would have thought about it yesterday so it would be smoldering away today while I work!
Breakfast: granola bar
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: imitation crab and 4 saltine crackers
Snack: string cheese
Dinner: grilled lemon-pepper fish and green salad
Snack: greek yogurt
Stay warm friends and keep that warm holiday spirit going strong.

Good evening, BOTT friends,
As they say here in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area of Virginia, "If you don't like the weather, stick round...it'll change in a day or two". Our weather is soooo unpredictable, but that's what it's like living so close to the Chesapeake Bay. Personally, I LOVE snow and there's never enough for my liking. But when we do happen to get some, it only sticks around a couple days. I'm so sad to see my snowmen melting.....
I haven't posted much in the last few days. I'm doing my workouts on my recumbent bike and I think I'm actually addicted to it now. I never thought I'd actually LIKE to workout in any way, shape or form, but I rarely miss a day and the lbs are really coming off. I eat well, and I've reached my first goal of 167 lbs, losing all of my 71 lb regain! I am soooo grateful to God, and for EVERYONE here who offered advice and encouragement. And as much as I hate this dated saying...If I can do it, ANYONE can!
Today I ate:
B: coffee with splenda, 4 tbsps LF half & half, 7 natural almonds
L: 8 pc chick-fil-a nuggets, 1 c green beans
S: 1/4 c pistachios (measured in shell)
S: Vitatop fudgy peanut butter chip (Tess, I finally got them...remember my shipment was stolen?)
D: 6 oz lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 slice Swiss, grilled onions, mustard, 1 tbsp each ketchup, relish and chopped jalapenos
Goodnight friends :)
