Tuesday, November 26th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning Botters:

It is a "beary" cold day here in my part of the world.  Got my boots on, oversized sweater and scarf around my neck.  This is my office wear.  Image what I wrap up in to go out into the world. Ha!  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  1 slice of Pumpkin Spice Loaf (a gift from my hairdresser) Yum!

Snack:  Fiber One Cake

Lunch:  Quest Brownie Bar

Snack:  1/2 Granola Bar

Dinner:  BBQ Chicken & Green Beans

Snack:  Vitatop

Exercise:  Bike

We were lucky and our temps got just above freezing so all the rain we had yesterday and today is just that, no sleet or snow our way.  I hope you all have a safe and warm day and please remember those vits and fluids.  Chat with you later.

Still cold here and there is snow on the ground to make it seem colder.  Leaving after noon to travel about 6 hours.......I get to see most of my grand babies tonight !!!   I am SO excited !  Saw the other ones last night, so this is one blessed Grandma !

my eats for today......breakfast. ....coffee and miralax.     Turkey sausage and scrambled egg

                                  Lunch......... Going to be on the road, so I will try to eat protein forward...

                                  Snack.......I have packed some apples

                                   Dinner...........daughter in law is fixing my meal......protein forward !!   ☺️

That is my mantra this week in particular. PROTEIN FORWARD !!

Tess - My feet are cold. Our temperature hasn't dropped yet. It's coming tonight or tomorrow. I've got the Uggs sitting by my bag that's packed for the mountains. We were going to leave right after work tomorrow and drive up but I think we've decided to wait until early Thursday morning to head out. Not quite sure where the ice/sleet/rain line may fall. I'd much rather be safe than sorry.

Breakfast: Coffee & cinnamon sugar donut

Lunch:  Lean Cuisine of some flavor

snack: apple & string cheese

Dinner:  Ham & Eggs

I've got to be good to make up for the donut this morning. The kiddo had a doctor's appointment this morning near his old school. He rarely asks for anything but this morning he really wanted to go to the donut shop that was near his school. So he got to see some old friends and visit with them. So did I---unfortunately donuts were always my nearest and dearest comfort "friend". I savored every crumb and then waited in the car. Way too much temptation to stay there.

At least you enjoyed every crumb!  Better to blow it on something that you REALLY like as opposed to mindless carb eating that you don't even remember finishing eating yet it's gone!  : )

I love it!  (visiting old friends).  I have known a donut or too in my life that I considered "best friends" too.  Keep those uggs close by cause sweetie it is definitely heading your way.  Have a great day!

Good morning BOTTs.

We are going to have our Thanksgiving celebration Wednesday evening because both of my kids will be able to make it!!!  Oh my gosh I am so excited about having them both in the house along with my parents.  When I learned that they could both be available, our plans changed from Subway turkey sandwiches to the whole traditional shabang!  I was running around the grocery store like a mad woman lastnight buying all of the fixings!  God is good all the time!  All the time God is good!!!    

Breakfast: greek yogurt

Snack:  fiber one bar

Lunch:  tuna stuffed tomato

Snack:  protein shake

Dinner:  tilapia and green beans

Snack:  apple and cheese

Have a great day, friends.

I'm going to enjoy a nice long walk during my break today.

Gaby I am so excited for you.  The holidays are really for the family get together's.  Remember is not so much the food as it is the good time had by all.  I hope you have a perfect Thanksgiving.
