Thanksgiving Plans

Wow! I have not logged my food since Monday on healthtracker! Been writing it down, but I worked three 12 hr shifts straight and by the time I get home I am so exhausted that I immediately hit the bed! I had off last night but was so tired I just slept! Now back for two nights, one night off, two more nights and then Thanksgiving and six days off! I must grocery shop at some point, I am running out of Proteins! For Thanksgiving we are going out for dinner because we are away from home this Thanksgiving. Our home is Dallas, Tx. but I took a 2 year contract on the border of Mexico and Texas for a huge bonus payout! Thankfully we will be moving back home in February!! So Thanksgiving will probably consist of a grilled chicken breast for me and "Man-friend", that is what I call my boyfriend-he is 50 and not a "boy", will pig out on whatever, all the while cheering me on. The biggest "restaurants" we have in this little border town is Luby's, Chili's, and yeah that is it! But we don't want to cook a Thanksgiving dinner until we are back home next year, with family and friends. I guess we will catch a movie, and then go see what sales we may acquire from Walmart! The movies and Walmart will be packed because that is all there is to do in this little town and everyone from Piedras Negras Mexico crosses the border to shop and play here. The people here are sweet and family-oriented, but I miss my big city and family-guess I am a city girl! So just a few more months here and we will be back home with family and friends and THAT is what I am so thankful for! Thanks if you are reading this long post and I hope everyone is where they want to be this holiday season!!
