I made 8 dozen mini muffins last night for my son's Honor Society Party today. I must confess that I ate 2 of them but not at the same time. Total calories 80 for both, they were delicious, blueberry and apple cinnamon. I have confessed so we will move on. I hope everybody has a happy, happy, hump day and remember those vits and fluids.
Well I don't think the 5dpt is for me lol! I made it to dinner time the first day and I felt left out so I caved. I am trying to avoid these guilty feelings and this is not helping. So if I focus on low/no carb high protein and watching my portions and start getting my but off the couch I will start losing weight? I feel so lost! I did great lost 12lbs but then now I am bouncing around 5 lbs and it's not going down. Any advice?
My eats:
pb: coffee
b: oatmeal
s: shake
l: salad
s: shake
d: taco Wednesday!
Need to drink my water and get in my vits
Just try to keep your calories under 1000 (800 is optima), your proteins around 80-100 grams and your carbs below 50 net. I promise you will lose weight doing this. No drinking for at least 30 minutes after the meal and none during the meal. Go for a nice walk around the neighborhood or get a jump rope and jump around the house for 20-30 minutes a day for either exercise.
Good morning BOTTs.
My house is peaceful again, thank God. I got home from work yesterday and my daughter had a bouquet of flowers with sweet card with an apology and a note saying that our ups and downs only make our bond stronger. ::sniff sniff:: Parenting is the most difficult yet most rewarding job I have ever had.
Weather is nice, I didn't bring my walking shoes again (kicking myself) however I am wearing flats so they will have to suffice for at least a couple of short jaunts during my work day. I may even throw in a plank or two. haha...that still makes me laugh. Luckily my office door locks so no one will come in and think I had taken a fall. "I've fallen and I can't get up!" haha...those commercials.
Breakfast: greek yogurt
Snack: glugging the water...when it's cooler weather, I really find myself lagging and I know it's not helping my efforts.
Lunch: protein drink
Snack: greek yogurt
Dinner: home made chili with shredded chicken
Snack: SF fudgecicle
I got my papsmear done last month, my mamogram is scheduled for next month as is a bone density scan. Gotta make sure we make time for our preventative health care!
Have a great day, y'all.
Gaby
Awwww! We know why we love our kids but at the same time we could pinch their little heads off too! You are ahead on me with the mamogram scheduling but I got an A+ on my papsmear. I know I need a bone density scan but have never scheduled one but I got to go get a crown at the dentist office so that scan will probably be on next year's schedule. Have a good one. plank, plank, plank....
Gotta love those kids and kiddos. 2 of mine (+Dad) had dental appointments today. Guess who needed 3 fillings? The Man Child!!!!!!!!! Just a touch of irony there.
No cheez-its in the office has equalled no cravings for me today. I splurged last night and made hot tea. A friend had given me a box of cinnamon stick tea bags...OMG!!! I added a splash of cream and a spoonful of real sugar last night. So very, very good. We've got some pumpkin spice tea bags in the breakroom. I'm thinking a little splenda and some sugar free italian cream coffee creamer. hmmmm......
The plan today looks like:
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Sausage & cheese quiche (crustless)
Lunch: Chicken Tortilla soup & fiber one brownie
snack: Hot tea anyone? & cheese stick w/ almonds
Dinner: Vegetable Beef soup
The knees aren't quite as "sharp" feeling as the past few days...they still hurt mind you just not quite as bone on bone as the weekend. I read everything I could find last night on accupressure points and diy rememdies. I'm willing to try just about anything.

Isn't there a book about flexology? About different points on the bottom of your feet to relief pain in certain areas of your body? I may be rambling here but you might want to google that book up and see. Good job on the cheese-its and I have never had cream in my tea but the cinnamon tea sounds lovely. Have a great rest of the day!
I think Tess mean Relexology.. best if done by someone else.. (My poor BF- he gets stuck with my feet in his hands when he is "just not doing anything" - I can't have him bored...lol)
