Too fast?-Is there such a thing!?

I know a few days ago I complained how after losing some I regained a few. Now I am down to 192 from 203 in a little over three weeks. I know right after WLS it is normal to quickly lose weight and compared to that rate I am losing slowly. But for those who have lost regain, how fast is it suppose to come off. I had my RNY in 2005 and three weeks ago weighed 203. Now I am 192 and I am thrilled, but some at work are saying that is too fast. I explained to them that I just started back eating the way I should post WLS and they say, "well right after it is normal to lose fast, but you shouldn't be able to lose 10 pounds in three weeks this far out from the WLS". So is it suppose to be fast-the losing of regain? Does anyone here think it is dangerous? I am happy about it, I just don't want to do anything to jeopardize my health. If others that lost the regain could chime in to give me an idea of how fast it comes off, and what is excessive and what may be expected. As I said, I am very happy with the loss, I just want to make sure I am not losing the regain "abnormally" fast.-I really can't believe I am asking if it is too fast-geese. LOL

You keep doing what you are doing, you are working your pouch again.  I lost 14 lbs my first month after regain and lost anywhere from 5-10 lbs. there after.  I lost 70 lbs. in 8 months so that is an average of 8.75 lbs. a month.  I have be maintaining now for almost 2 years (February).  Rock on girl.

I kept my calories to 800 a day for the first 3 months and slowly add about 100 calories a month until I reached 1200 calories.  I kept my proteins up from 80 to 100 grams sometimes higher and my carbs were always around 50 net grams or less.  I started walking every day, in the beginning just 30 minutes until I worked up to 1 hour a day.  I journal my food daily which is why I am still journaling my food daily because it keeps me on track.  I make sure that I am compliant with my vitamins and I do not drink with meals or after until 30-60 minutes later.  I gave up white products:  No breads, sugars (cakes, pies, candy), pasta, potatoes or any other starches.  I eat lean and green during my weight lost period.  I can count on one hand how many times I have had potatoes in the last two years.  Instead of looking at what you can't have, how about looking at all the foods that you can have.  My son is educating me on eating less meat and getting my protein from other sources and he has been so creative on finding choices at different places to eat.  I am quite enjoying it right now, he has made it into a game.  "What are we going to eat here"?  My vice?  Diet Pepsi.  I have given it up twice and both times there was no change in the weight loss pro or con for me.  For now, I choose my vice.
