Hi Iris: So sorry about the headache this morning. Missing our love ones on special occasions really do cause our heads to ache along with our hearts. They are truly never forgotten just put aside for the moment. I will definitely give you a pass on "perky" today but we are going to talk about those Cheez-its.
Thank you, Iris. This is, as you have already experienced, a very unfortunate time of the year to lose a loved one. Any time is a bad time, but holiday time is so bittersweet. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I've never had many headaches, but when I see them described as skull busters, I cringe! Hope you get complete relief soon.
I'm at that age where I have to do the math....I completely skipped 44 for about 6 months. Now I've sped ahead to 47. That doesn't happen until March. Lawdy this getting old isn't for the weak.
I threw the cheez-its away. Somehow a piece of a box was leftover from last week's trips and found it's way into my work bag. They are the favored bait of the carb monster. Just glad I tossed them. (and held myself accountable for the ones I did eat)

Good morning BOTTs.
There is turmoil in Southern California. Sometimes being a parent is so difficult and frustrating, especially when dealing with a teen. My daughter is 16 and I had to put my foot down last night and she could only see how "unreasonable I was and how stupid the situation was". Long story short, she stayed with my mom last night because she didn't want to be with me. (I was fine with that because I knew she was safe.) This hasn't happened to me before but I am the mom and my decision is final......because I AM THE MOM and I have only her best interest at heart. Anyway, right now, I'm the bad guy. What a crappy feeling. This too shall pass. Blah blah blah
Ok...now that my vent is over. (Breathe Gaby)

Good evening, BOTT friends,
Well, I'm back on my recumbent bike after 6 days off when I had to go out of town. I had a great 85 min workout this evening covering 12.3 miles. I'm coming down with a cold, but it felt great getting my workout in. And my back did not protest too much. It's late, and I'm gonna cut this short now. Today I ate:
B: 2 fried (in Pam) eggs, 1 tbsp ketchup, coffee with 4 tbsps SF pumpkin spice creamer
S: 6 ozs Light & Fit yogurt
L: 3 ozs lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 oz cheddar, mustard, 1 tbsp each ketchup and relish
S: 1/2 oz natural almonds, coffee with 4 tbsps SF creamer
D: 6 ozs broiled whiting, 1/3 c vinegar slaw (non-mayo based), 1/2 c pinto beans
Hope everyone has a good night :)
