Eats for today........by posting this it helps keep me on track !  

breakfast......coffee and miralax and an apple

snack.............?

lunch...............cafeteria is serving the holiday meal of turkey, stuffing, etc.....I will just have to control portion size !  😊

snack...............popcorn

dinner................homemade chili and oyster crackers 

snack................yogurt or SF/FF pudding

That's a good sounding menu...controlling the portions is always easier said than done.

For sure, but that is what I HAVE to concentrate on.........portion control and more protein !!!

I did well at lunch.......had them give me a small plate and didn't get potatoes or ham AND had them cut my portions in half !!  I am very full !!  If I had eaten what they served everyone else, I would have been miserable !!

Good afternoon BOTTs.

Boy oh boy!!!  Is this website all yucked up or what???  I haven't been on a computer since last Friday...just trying to keep up on the tiny little screen of my iphone and I couldn't post or reply at all.  Also, it's nearly impossible to find the other forums!  I was comfortable with it before....sheeeeeeeeesh....if it ain't broke, leave it alone.  cool

Okay...my little rant is over. 

Breakfast:  protein shake

Snack:  half of a protein bar

Lunch:  chicken thigh with marinara sauce, beets, and 1/2 c watermelon

Snack:  half of a protein bar

Dinner:  green salad with tomatoes and tilapia with lemon pepper

Snack:  greek yogurt

No exercise today, still letting my body recover after a medical procedure. 

I plan on drinking lots of water today....I've really been lagging at that.  When I

am at home, my schedule really gets thrown off.

Good Evening Botts:

Sorry I missed the morning post.  I had a General Liability Audit this morning at 8:00 AM and from there the day proceeded to go down hill.  I had a scare this afternoon around 1:00 PM.  My lower stomach started having pains which continued in the upper stomach and radiated into my back.  I left work at 1:30 PM bent over in pain and did not know the reason.  I had all these thoughts flying through my head about kinked intestines, inflamed stoma, etc.  I got home and got in the bed curled up in the fetus position with a heating pad.  My stomach even swelled out.  After about 2 hours and a dose of gas X I finally felt some relief.  I don't know if something twisted down below and caused a temporary blockage and gas back up into my system are what.  I do not it was the worst pain I have had in a long, long time.  Even out of surgery, I did not hurt like this.  I will be watching closely for the next few days and see if anything else starts up.  I do feel better right now but my upper stomach is very tender, like it has been punched from the inside.  I am not posting my eats since it is the same as always except I missed my afternoon snack.  No bike tonight.  I try to be back on board early in the morning.
