scale going back up!?!

I am quite frustrated right now with myself! I had earlier posted that my weight had almost dropped by 5 pounds, but now my scale shows I am back up to 200!! I don't know what I am doing wrong. Maybe I should stop weighing myself daily? How often-weekly? I was so happy that five seemed to just drop off after re-establishing the bypass way of eating, but now I fear it is going to be one of those endless up and down-getting no where kind of battle for me. When I am off, which is usually four nights per week, I walk four miles. Otherwise I have 12 hour shifts as an RN and I am constantly running around on my shift, always on my feet. I do not exercise on the nights that I work because I am so physically and mentally exhausted after every shift, it is all I can do to make it to bed. So the idea of revision continues to creep into my mind. I long for the days of post-op, when the weight seemed to vanish so quickly. So I will continue my way of high protein eating because I am determined that it is now my new way of life, and I will stop the daily weigh-ins because they are stressing me out. I guess I will start weighing once per week and see if I can progress. I guess it really is one day at a time, I just don't want to spin my wheels. If I am doing what is correct for losing the regain and it refuses to leave, I am going to have to turn to a revision.

Don't give up, you can do this!  How many calories are you eating a day?  Are you keeping a journal?  How many carbs are in your calorie count?  Are you drinking enough fluids to flush your system?  I weigh twice a week.  Once on Wednesday and once on Sunday.  I think you are doing awesome on your exercise and you just need to tweet you diet probably.  Tell me what you ate, drank and did yesterday for the scale to go up.

You can do this !   We have all been there, where the scales inch back up.........that is what this site is all about.......do not weigh daily, it will drive you crazy....I weigh every Monday to keep myself on track, but I don't let the numbers on the scale upset me......we just have to keep on doing what we know is right.....

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!
