Happy Friday BOTTs.
I'm envious of the cold weather you all are having. I love when it's cold enough to actually wear boots!!'
Monday is a work holiday for me but I "chose" to have a medical procedure on Monday. (I'm having a procedure that is supposed to stop or lesson the amount of "iron" loss each month due to Aunt Flo.) I'm a little apprehensive about it but I have a wonderful doctor and I feel very confident being under her care.
Breakfast: greek yogurt and 12 raw almonds
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: Veggie burger patty wrapped in lettuce with tomato and red onion.
Snack: granola bar
Dinner: mushroom soup and apple slices
Snack: string cheese
Planning to walk during my breaks today.
Have a beautiful weekend and take good care of yourselves.

Tess, it's called Endometrial ablation which is the surgical destruction of the lining tissues of the uterus, known as the endometrium. Endometrial ablation is one type of treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding.
I lose a lot of blood every month and so hopefully, after this procedure, my body will be able to retain more iron longer since I don't seem to be able to absorb iron orally any longer.
