Back On Track Together
Sunday Funday
Hope everyone is well rested from last night's extra hour. I guess this means that winter is officially here. I get to drive home from work with my headlights on now. It's also going to make getting in any exercise after work a little more difficult. We don't live in an area with street lights, so evening activity will have to be inside.
I'm rearranging the bedroom so I will have room for a yoga mat and a spot for a DVD player beside the TV. November is going to be my adventure into Yoga. I'll keep ya posted on how that goes.
We've got yardwork to do today. So fun day is all about raking leaves and mulching flower beds. Yippee!!!!! (yes that was sarcasm!)
Hope yall have a great day.

Good luck with the yoga, Iris...something I've been wanting to try for awhile. Hope everybody had a great weekend.
I haven't posted for the last couple days, but I'm doing well and staying true to my plan. I've logged 29.8 miles on my recumbent bike since Friday, and my back has tolerated it well (so far). My thyroid surgery is this coming Friday, and I'm not sure what my restrictions will be as far as riding my bike, so I'm trying to get really good mileage in before then. I've been through this (thyroid surgery) before, but it's been 27 years, and I don't remember everything about my recuperation, especially as far as eating post-op. But I'm planning on soft protein for a few days afterward.
Today I ate:
B: 1 c All Bran, 1 c almond milk, 2.5 tbsps SF creamer
S: 2 ozs deli ham
L: 5 ozs lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 slice RF cheddar, mustard, 1 tbsp each ketchup and relish
S: Iced coffee with splenda, 4 tbsps light half & half, SF Vitatop
D: Taco Bell pintos and cheese, 2 fried (in Pam spray) eggs with 1.5 tbsps ketchup, 2 strips low sodium turkey bacon
Goodnight friends :)
