Happy Halloween Botts :

It is raining cats and dogs and ghosts and goblins here in Mississippi this morning.  I really felt like I needed a boat to get in to the office today.  Looks like I may be stuck with a whole lot of candy leftover after tonight, but I did find a solution.  I am going to give it to the 4K program at school.  They use treats for good behavior and this should hold them the rest of the year.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Vitatop Brownie

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Lemon Fiber One Bar

Dinner:  Veggie Sausage & eggs

Snack:  Deep Chocolate Vitatop

Exercise:  Dancing around in my witchee outfit.

I hope everybody has a safe and happy Halloween.  Remember those vits and fluids or the ghosts will come and get you!!!!

I’ve done very well today!  I’ve been offered Halloween candy twice, a cupcake, and a piece of birthday cake and said no thanks every time.  The Lord has surely given me strength today.

It is almost 1:30 PM here and the rain is still pouring.  Weatherman says it will continue until about 9:00 PM.  I don't think I will have many trick or treaters tonight.

    HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!!

Today's eats...Breakfast.....coffee and miralax

Lunch...........bbq sandwich on whole wheat bun/ baked chips

snack...........bad.....chocolate chip cookie !!!!!    already ate....so on to the next meal.....

                           dinner.........chicken and veggie stir fry

snack.............??  maybe I will skip to make up for cookie

I do have some good accomplishments during the last 24 hours.....I only bought enough Halloween candy for the kids that I know will be here.   I live in a small housing developement of 20 houses... 2 miles from town and have very few trick or treaters now that all our kids are grown and gone.  I bought for the neighbors grandkids that I know will hit me about supper time and for my own grandchildren that live close.

Instead of candy for them, I baked them a cake.  It is a lot cheaper than going all out and filling a goodie bag for them like I have in the past and their parents get a treat, too. (did I tell you that I used to decorate cakes for a living ?)  If I have additional trick or treaters, I will give them bags of unpopped popcorn....it is all I would have in the house that I could pass out.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween !!!!!  And for those of you in the storms....be warm and safe.

Slow and steady !!!!  Have a Blessed Day !!!!!!

Came in to computer issues again today. IT can't seem to explain it. Oh well. The downside was no internet connection. The upside was no telephones. Not a bad day. Plus we dressed in our PJs and bed head today. I can rock the bed head look. Of course I'll have to wa**** a dozen times to get the wax and hairspray out of it.

2 minature Reese cups (The really little round ones)is the only candy that I've caved to. I still haven't caved for the donuts that were brought in the other day. In fact, I can't wait to be the one to pitch them in the trash can tomorrow. It's a HUGE mental (& physical) victory.

Today has gone fairly well.

Commute:  Coffee

Breakfast:  1/2 sausage, egg & cheese biscuit

Lunch:      Multigrain cheerios & ff lactaid

snack:      2 tiny reese cups  &   coffee

Dinner:      leftover chicken & stuffing

Vitamins are in. Having a hard time today with getting the water in. Gotta do better on that end this evening. We've got company coming in for the weekend. So the exercise is going to be HOUSEWORK tonight. Gotta get it looking good.

Happy Halloween!!!!

Throw those donuts out!!!  I tried the mini twix bars about 2 weeks ago.  They could be dangerous.  I bought a little mini bag for $1.00, ate two and gave the rest to my hubby.  Good "bad" candy!

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween

Tess, I know your area (and several states) were deluged with rain.  What a bummer!  Our Halloween was warmer than I like, but better than last year when I broke my back at work on Halloween morning.  I spent last Halloween flat on my back with that awful back brace.  At least this year I could don my make up and hand out the candy.  I did walk a couple blocks with the kids, but I'm not allowed that kind of walking, and believe me, my back protested big time.  But it's my favorite, and I will be so glad when I can go all out again with the festivities.

I doled out lots of candy, but didn't eat one piece.  My "Halloween candy" was my first Vitatop, and it beats any candy out there, IMO.  They arrived today, and I thawed it according to the instructions, then toasted it for about 30 secs.  It came out rich and gooey, with melted chocolate chips, and was very similar in taste to molten lava cake.  It was great!
