Tuesday, October 29th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning Botts:

I got carried away on another site this morning and just remember that I forget to do our Tuesday Cardio.  Bad me!!!  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Fiber One Bar

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vitatop Brownie

Dinner:  BBQ Chicken Lean Pocket

Snack:  Vitatop

Exercise:  Walking or Biking

Have a great Tuesday and remember those vits and fluids.  (P.S. 57 days until Christmas!)

You were doing great until you posted the Christmas countdown....goodness it's sneaking up on me this year.

Yesterday was a sucessful non grazing today. Not sure that today will be as easy. (Damn Donut man came by earlier) Haven't caved. I keep looking at that Red Solo cup on my desk and so far I've managed to avoid the breakroom.

Today's plan is looking like this:

Breakfast:   Granola Bar

commute:  coffee

Breakfast #2:   1/2 ham & cheese on toasted flax sandwich thin

lunch:   egg Drop Soup & 1/2 ham & cheese on flax thin

snack:  greek yogurt & handful of granola

Dinner:   Pinto Beans

Not sure if I'll get my walk in over my lunch hour today or not. I woke up with a splitting headace and it's not let up all that much. May end up in the office headache chamber (we've got a huge coat closet that is dark and quiet that we put a recliner in just for days like this). Tonight is WW weigh in so it'll be dark by the time I get home. If it's not raining I'll try and get some extra trips up and down the front stairs. I've taken the vitamins and working on my decaf iced tea.

Iris, I feel for you and the donuts.  They are like a siren call to me.  Just knowing they are there for the taking gives me the shakes.  I once got so mad at myself over a donut that I ate two because I knew I would throw up.  devil Too much sugar.  How is that for self inflicted punishment for endulging.  The girls over at the Real Estate office call me all the time to let me know that sales folks have brought over goodies.  I never go over there.....indecision

Have you had any success with the WW program? Does it also work for GP people?

It's honestly going very slowly for me....but I think over the years I may have completely wrecked my metabolism. What I do love & need is the weekly accountability that the local meetings give me.

I know several people who have used the program to get down to their goal weights after the honeymoon phase of their surgeries have passed.

If my office had a headache chamber like that I'd pretend I had a headache every afternoon lol.

EATS

Early Morning:  2 cups coffee w/SF hazelnut creamer

B:  Quest Protein Bar

S:  small apple, banana, 3 Triscuits

L:  Ham & cheese on whole wheat, banana

S:  Unjury Protein Shake

D:  Chili & cheese crackers

S:   none

TOTALS:  1488 calories, 111g Protein 

WEIGHT:  Pre-Op: 302, Current: 189 (Height:  5’ 7”)

I guess I am late posting everyday....kiss......My mornings are always extremely busy.

We had another bake sale (profit goes to breast cancer research) this morning and I succumbed to 1/2 of a yummy homemade sugar cookie...threw the other half in trash before it went into my mouth, too !!!!  A friend made them and they are so good.....at least I only ate half.

I did very well yesterday sticking to my plan.

My husband started WW two weeks ago and has lost 15 lbs !!!!!  It never works that way for me.  But now we are watching everything we eat a lot closer now.  It should help to stay on track.

My eats for the day:

breakfast............coffee and 1/2 sugar cookie

lunch...................ham sandwich and baked chips

snack..................orange

dinner.................meeting my sister and her husband for dinner at a local mexican restaurant.....will order veggie quesadillas and bring home half for tomorrow.....just have to watch the chips and salsa !!!!!!

Good afternoon BOTTS.

Super late entry for me because I had to head North for a dr appointment this morning and am just now getting back to work. 

Breakfast:  Protein drink

Lunch:  Imitation crab meat "legs" & peanut butter and celery

Snack:  water water water  (didn't drink any while I was driving..looooooong drive.)  haha

Dinner:  egg salad on slices of cucumber

Snack:  peanut butter and celery (probably)

Gotta hit the calcium yet today, also.

Hi Everyone!

I don't think I will get to post much between now and mid November, but wanted to try!

I am in PA this week for work and headed to Mexico on Saturday!   My eating has been pretty funny.  Didn't eat much of anything yesterday and feeling pretty sick after the plane ride.  I am better today, but my pouch is feeling nice a tight!

Here are my eats for today:

B: 1.5 hard boiled eggs and some pink grapefruit.  Couldn't fini**** all

s: nothing - Coffee

L: Cup of veggies soup and an egg muffin with egg whites.  Yes I ate the whole muffin, but it was small.

S: Coffee and a gatorade

D: I had some veggie soup and Flounder with steamed broccoli at Bob Evans.  I am shacked up here working on my graduation speech.

Once I get back to the hotel, I plan on jumping on the elliptical.  I have to run to CVS for a Multi Vitamin, because I completley forgot to pack mine!
Trying really hard with my eating, to stay on track and on schedule but it is challenging.  Sometimes I am finding it easier to eat nothing....
