Thursday, October 24th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Afternoon All!

Last night while leaving the gym, I saw the first snow fly!  It was a sad, sad realization that the cold is inevitable and winter is upon us! ohhhhh.  I think I am fighting something off...stomach bug or something, I just don't feel right.  Hoping what ever it is goes away quick!  I have an entire week in PA for work next week so trying to plan my eats for that.  I usually do really well, but I need to be good about the exercise!

Here is what I am eating today:

B: Protein Drink

S: 3 Donut holes :( Yes three

L: Qdoba - naked taco bowl.  Some beans, little bit of rice, and ground beef with tomatoes.  No cheese/sour cream.  I feel icky now, I should have known better that to eat this.

S: Water, water and more water

D; Chicken Breast (deli Meat) with whole grain Wasa crackers maybe a slice or two of lactose free cheese.

S: Water/ few slices of Deli meat if I work out tonight. (Protein after the work out)

Could have been a better eating day for me.  I am going to try and make up for that tonight at the gym, an hour on the elliptical should help me burn a good 600 cals.  I have been really bad about logging calories the last week or so. Going to get back into it today.  I need to gain perspective again.

Vitamins are in, and planning on hitting the gym for another hour tonight. Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi Melissa.  I hope you are not coming down with the stomach flu.  If I do not count my calories daily, I will start adding little amounts over the course of the day until I have eaten an extra 200-300 calories.  If I plan then I only eat that amount, if I don't, I tend to turn a blind eye to the extras and wonder why I am not losing/gaining.  It is almost like if I don't write it down then I not responsible for how it came about.  Have a good afternoon.

Hi Tess,

Yes I am seeing the little snacking here and there through the day.  There has been a lot of temptation at work this week, and I usually do really well with avoiding it, but not this week..... I will get back at it.

Really hoping I don't have the stomach flu! I can't afford to be out of commission especially before 2 weeks of travel (and vacation) coming up! Urk.

I hope you are feeling better very fast!!  We just don't have time to waste being sick!

Oh Gaby! haha, I was referring to the snow falling lol :) First time it snowed last night... scary to say that outloud!

Oh!!!  Hahahahaha that's really funny.  I DID actually google "snow fly" and a little bug came up!
