Back On Track Together

Good Morning Botts:
I have on a nice jacket and long pants today. I may have to say goodbye for awhile to my capris...The weather is quite nippy and in some parts down right cold. I had a fantastic time Friday night at the Trace Adkins concert. That is one fine figure of a man and the music was awesome too! My son, daughter and hubby are going tonight to the WWE Raw arena in Memphis. I got out of this one. Wrestling is really more the son and hubby's activity and my daughter offered to go in my place, THANK YOU! I spent Saturday cleaning out my garage. We can almost park two cars inside it now. Wow! My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
2nd Breakfast: Oatmeal
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Pure Protein Bar
Snack: Brownie Vitatop
Dinner: BBQ Chicken Hot Pocket
Snack: Deep Chocolate Vitatop
Exercise: A walk around my neighborhood this afternoon.
I hope everybody else had an awesome weekend too! Here's to a good Monday! Remember those vits and fluids!
I knew you'd have a good time at the concert. I went with corduroy pants this morning myself and a wrap to keep warm. Poor Cameron came out with Jeans and his thick Carhart coat - the boy hates being cold. I do love the color I'm seeing in the leaves on my way to work. Add a little ground fog over the fields and it's really beautiful.
Today's plan looks like this:
commute: Coffee (spilled the first cup ---GRRRRR)
breakfast: multigrain cheerios w/ silk "milk"
lunch: grilled chicken salad & wheat thins
snack: asian pear and cheese stick
dinner: BBq chicken, deviled eggs and green beans
Hoping to get a walk in at Lunch time to enjoy some fresh air. Got the vitamins in and just finished brewing a pitcher of unsweet decaf iced tea for work. It's gong to be a great day!!

I would just like to say that I am enjoying your daily posts .....It has been inspirational. I just started on BOTT last week and am enjoying a renewed enthusiasm for weight loss.
I also enjoy knowing more about who I am reading about. I live in the Texas panhandle and todays weather is nippy. I wore a coat to work and I haven't had on capris for a couple of weeks. The temp outside is 45 with a high of 55 today. I hope you have a great day !!!
Morning Everyone!
Tess, I have to agree with you! Trace, has got some moves, and that deep voice, well its lovely :) lol
It is chilly here in Wisconsin as well. Frost is on the way, and I don't think my tomato plants will make it to the end of the week. :( The weekend was good. Had some nice quiet time with the hubby and family time. Saturday I did a 5K walk/run along Lake Michigan, and it was gorgeous! Yesterday, really a lot of cleaning and relaxing! I have been having a lot of nausea after eating since Saturday night no matter what it is, and I'm not sure why! I was hoping it was morning sickness, but sadly the test was negative :( lol
Here are my eats for the day:
B: Protein Drink
S: Protein Bar - Think Thin Chocolate Brownie
L: left over Tator tot casserole (W/O the Tatar tots) My healthy Version
S: Water/SF Jello - Taking it easy on my tummy. I feel like hurling after my protein this morning
D: Stuffed Pepper Stew. Slow cooker recipe I found using ground chicken breast
Vitamins are in, and hoping to get some exercise in tonight. I have to work like crazy for my graduation speech the next few nights! So it will be a fine balance between, work home, school and ME time :) Have a great day everyone!!
Melissa, I hope your tomato plants are covered, if not, the frost will definitely get them. I was told if any fruit was left on the vine and got frosted on it, to spray it was water the next morning to save it. Not sure if that works or not. Sorry about the false alarm. You may have a touch of stomach virus or a little tainted food poisoning. Hope you are feeling better today!
Good morning BOTTs.
A little bit brisk this morning but alas I am still wearing my capris. It's just so much easier for me because I'm 5' 0" tall (or short?) and finding pants in the correct length is a chore. That and the fact that I can't even mend. I know, I know...take them to a tailor....but it just seems like a hassle. haha
Glad you had a great time at Trace, Tess!
I did not wake up in time to plan for my day's eats so it's going to be rather boring and may change a little if I leave my office at noon.
Breakfast: Protein shake
Snack: 15 raw almonds
Lunch: Protein Shake
Snack: 15 raw almonds
Dinner: chili with lofat cheese
Snack: sf jello
Walking during a break at lunch today again...that hill's getting easier!
Have a great day and take good care of your bodies.
Gaby
Good morning Gaby. My sister will understand the pant issue, she is 5'2" tall. If she ever finds a style that fits, she will buy five pairs at one time. Menu may be boring but it will give you a good start to the week. If that hill is getting easier, then you need to start walking it backwards! HeeHee
