Happy Friday Botts:

Calibella, I heard that the transit strike started last night.  I hope you have a way to get around today.  The day is starting off chilly here in my neck of the woods and I actually pulled out a sweater jacket today.  Tonight, my hubby and I are going to see Trace Adkins in concert.  My daughter bought us tickets back in May for Mother and Father's Day.  I am so excited.  Love me some Trace!  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Oatmeal

Snack:  Vitatop Brownie

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vitatop Brownie

Dinner:  1 slice Cheese Pizza

Snack:  Protein or Fiber Bar during concert most likely

Exercise:  I hope to be shaking my booty to some fine country music.

I hope everybody has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend too!  Please remember to take those vits and drink those fluids too!

Morning everyone! 

Ohh Tess Have fun!! I love Trace Adkins! I have seen him twice... he has some good moves ;) 

I am decompressing at the moment.  I had a meeting with my boss (President of the Company) this morning to basically discuss a position I created within the company, and am hoping to be promoted to this role by January. Little bit of stress there, but it went great, and things went very well! Some work to do, but the possibility is there. My only other option was to take a position in PA.  Not really good timing Anyways!
My Eats for the day:

B: Protein Drink

S; Think Thin Protein Bar

L: Salad ( I think) There is pasta being brought in for lunch and I am trying to stay away!

S: Jello/Water

D: not sure yet - have a Tupperware party and they are having pizza.  Can't do it.

 

My exercise this morning was about a mile walk to the coffee shop for my meeting.  No insanity today, and vitamins are in!

A big thanks to all of you who offered encouragement to me.  I appreciate that.  I'm so glad this week is about over.  I've been insanely busy at work.  A co-worker has been on vacation all week and I'm his back-up so I've been juggling 2 jobs all week and I'm working tomorrow to get caught up some.  Y'all have a great weekend!

Hi Angela.  Last week my boss was gone and I thought I would get all my stuff caught up, Nope, didn't happen.  I ended up doing my bosses job while mine went to the way side.  This week I have been playing catch up with two weeks of work on my desk.  Here's hoping that next week will be better for both of us.

Good afternoon, friends,

 

Didn't post last night due to PAIN after my bike workout.  I didn't do anything more than the usual...actually, I did less and topped off at 6.5 miles but after I was done and headed upstairs, pain struck like you wouldn't believe.  After a pain pill and a muscle relaxant, I still didn't get enough relief to fall asleep until after 4 am.  Then I had to be up again at 6 to receive the little granddaughter to get her ready for school.

So far, today has been a little better, but I'm lying around taking it easy.  I'll post my eats this evening, as usual.  Think I'll stay off the bike today though.  Tess, I hope you have a fun night at the concert.  Judging by your enthusiasm, I'm sure you'll shake and wiggle every calorie of that pizza off :)

Swtmelissa...WTG!! on the possible promotion!  Good luck!

Angela...Keeping you and everyone lifted in prayer.  Stay encouraged :)

Good afternoon gang. I love the encouragement that happens on this board. It doesn't matter if it's with our health & nutrition, our jobs, our families or anything else----we all seem genuine in our expressing and accepting of support. It's a great reminder of how the healthy relationships in our lives should work. (my youngest is going through a tough patch with his gf right now)

I'm so ready for this clock to say 5 o'clock. It's newly wed weekend...I get a date night with my hubby. If I'm lucky, maybe he'll even spring for dinner out tonight.

Commute:  Coffee

Breakfast:  Multigrain cheerios & Silk "milk"  (blahh...I don't love it)

snack:       FiberOne Brownie

Lunch:       Grilled Chicken salad

snack:       Greek Yogurt

Dinner:      depends on where we end up...chicken wings sound good to me.

Vitamins and meds are in for the day. Decaf tea is going down fairly quickly today. Exercise is at the minimum the walk I got in on my lunch hour----the weather is perfect. Enjoy the dancing tonight Tess!!!

Have you tried the vanilla unsweetened almond breeze? It's yummy! Much better than silk
