Vitamins and Fluids
Shelia - go to the Texas forum it's about midway down (maybe 10 posts) with a title of 7.5 years.
I'm not sure how I feel about the post to be quite honest. It is a GREAT reminder of what we need to constantly stay on top of. But on the other hand I had one of the few surgeons that I've ever heard of who stressed the importance of continued follow up care. This poor woman has been through the ringer. She makes a very good illustration of our systems being similar to a water filtration system and us missing an important piece of it due to our surgery.
Keep taking those vitamins and GET THAT LAB WORK DONE!!!!!!

Tess,
thank you for sharing this!! I was going through some issues as well when I found out in July that I was severely anemic, and vitamin counts very low. Not to this extreme ( I was however doing really well with my vitamins) taking prenatal and my B12 injections, but sometimes even the normal care isn't enough and we really have to follow through with getting our labs checked!! This post showed a very serious side to what happens if you don't take care of yourself after! People always say this is the easy way, but really it is not!!
Thanks again :)
