I hope everybody has a wonderful Tuesday and remembers to take their vits and fluids.
Have fun while you can,
With my last week business trip, and then 3-day wedding - my drinking was out of control... (way too much -not getting completely drank = but drinking a lot during - along the later part of the days...)
Even with great food choices (I know better than to eat carbs - severe RH) , I ate a lot of food while drinking... (alcohol allows me to eat and eat and eat..). Of course the scale was not so nice to me today... I am up and really up there.. 5-6 lbs... And some is probably water weight- (my poor swollen liver) but some is just pure fat...
So back on the program.. I do want to get rid of the puffiness and swelling.. and I do need to give my liver a break... .
Eats:
coffee and some more coffee
SF jello
protein shake
protein shake
jello
tuna and tomatoes
dinner: not sure: but some proteins and veggies..

Saw a great quote this morning "Nothing ruins a good Friday like realizing it''s only Tuesday!" Yep, that's my morning. Raining and blowing like crazy here this morning. Yikes!! It would have been so easy to call in sick this morning and just curl up on the couch for a Netflix marathon today.
Today is weigh in day at WW. I've not got a good feeling about this at all. Way too much stress eating last week and over the weekend. Feeling quite bloated this morning.
The plan for today looks like this:
commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Cheerios & FF lactose free milk
snack: apple
Lunch: 1/2 Panera Bread Salad leftover from yesterday
snack: Greek Yogurt
Dinner: Chicken & Rice Soup
Lots and Lots of Decaf tea throughout the day. Exercise is going to hopefully be some Wii Fit tonight.

Hi Iris. Some times we have to face the mirror (scale). Is your chicken and rice soup homemade or bought. I was just thinking if it is store bought to watch out for the sodium for it will make you retain water like crazy and show up on the scale. I would have been lucky if I could have remained the same after the weekend you had.
Homemade ---I can't handle the salt in the canned ones. The lower sodium options just don't have enough flavor for me to justify the added expense. At home I overload it with garlic, onions, black pepper, celery and carrots. And lots of chicken. A very small amount of brown rice that's been cooked to death is about all of the rice my pouch will tolerate.

Morning Ya'll
I am on day 2 of the 5DPT and I am dragging, a little tired. I had a migraine last evening making think it is the caffeine I have been drinking daily getting back at me.
B Shake
S Shake
L Shake
D Warm broth with protein
PS - I have a cool 24 oz bottle that had a battery operated spinner, much easier than bringing my bullet to work.
Good morning BOTTs.
I'm on Day 2 of the 5 Day Pouch Test today. Yesterday was not as bad as I was expecting, so there's a chance that I may go ballistic today with carb crashing. I'm not giving in tho. I brought an extra protein shake, just in case I get "that carb feeling". If I feel too tempted to blow it, I will instead have a protein shake. That way I know that it will buy me some time, and by then, I will have satisfied my head hunger without doing any damage to my plan this week. There, now that it's in writing, it's a done deal. : )
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: protein drink
Snack: protein drink (carb cravings usually kick in at about 3pm)
Dinner: protein drink
I didn't get much water in yesterday so I will have to make a point of it today. We are in a Santa Ana here which means that hot wind is blowing from the East (Desert). Makes the skin super dry, lips chapped, cuticles ragged, and tons of static in the air which makes for interesting hair styling in the mornings. I think I will see if I can counteract some of the effects of the weather with drinking extra water today.
Have a great day, friends.
