Good Morning!

Today I need to focus on being productive.  Working from home today, so it will be nice and quiet.  Lots of homework this afternoon and evening, business strategies! Fun stuff!

Today I am thinking...

B: Unjury Protein with Coffee and Almond Milk
S: Sugar Free Jello
L: Protein Drink or Protein Broth
S: Sugar Free Jello
D: Grilled Chicken Breast and Zucchini

With me working from home today I will need to watch my snacking!  I think if I stay focused and productive I won't think about eating so much.

Vitamins in and for exercise did Plyometrics Insanity video - 45 minutes of intense activity :)  Maybe I can squeeze in another round later today.

Tess - What are veggie crumbles?

Make it a great day everyone!

They are made by Morning Star Products and they are a vegetable protein substitute that takes on the flavor of what ever you are mixing them with.  Basically, they are a substitute for hamburger meat.  I also use the Prime Original burgers, Chicken Patties, and Sausage Patties.  They are all pretty good for me.  I get mine at Walmart.

Happy HUMPDAY!!

I'm in full Mother Hen nesting mode. We rented the house in the mountains last weekend for my son and now it's an all out family effort to stuff the U-Haul with EVERYTHING he could ever need for setting up house this weekend. We've covered the spectrum from bathmats to Curtains. He's the chef so he has better kitchen stuff than I do. He did ask me to pick up an inexpensive set of Knives that everyone else could use. His are kept with him....they have rosewood handles and are surgical grade sharp. Can't wait for Friday afternoon so I can be back on the road again.

I am planning my meals and snacks for this weekend. Last weekend killed me and it showed up last night on the scales at WW. A one pound gain. YIKES!! I knew I should have never opened the chocolate laden trail mix. I have ZERO self-control with that stuff. Plus this weekend will be about activity and getting stuff done, not sitting, riding and eating out of boredom.

Today's plan is:

commute: coffee

breakfast:  Peanut butter & banana roll-up

lunch:  Chef's salad

snack:  Grapes

Dinner:  Pepper Steak & green beans

Activity for the day is walking at lunch time and again when I get home this afternoon. I've got the vitamins in for the day. Working on tall glass of tea #1. Just brewed a fresh gallon. I'm ready to do this right today.

Iris:  I do not envy the moving this weekend.  I have to next August to get back in to moving in and out dorms for my son.  We moved my daughter 8 times during a 6 year period.  It was exhausting.  Every move got bigger and bigger.  I hope your son plans to be there awhile.

He says that this is his forever home. He doesn't like a lot of change - pretty much loves a routine and the same surroundings. I know he's pretty rooted to the area he's in so I can foresee this being the forever home too. Just wi**** was a little closer than the 263 miles from my door steps to his.

Good morning BOTTs.

Today is my Birthday and it's National Kale Day!  Whodathunkit???

Hahaha....I've never done anything with kale, but maybe it's time???

Veggie crumbles are great in tacos and spaghetti sauce also.  (I use spaghetti squash when I make it.)

I read something kinda cool the other day that said if you pledge to walk at least one mile every day this month (or any other) for 27 days, you will have done an actual marathon.  Cool challenge.  I'm doing it.

Breakfast:  protein drink

Snack:   celery w/ peanut butter

Lunch:  salad with baked chicken strips and low fat raspberry vinaigrette

Snack:  protein bar

Dinner:  possibly sushi, easy on the rice

Snack: ?

Everyone have a great day.

Gaby
