Ended up pulling a double today Saturday with two activities. First was a Bike rid the second the family walked 5 of our dogs through the state park. Kind of beat now I usually dont do so much in one day. What healthy activities did you work into your days over the weekend?

Did my recumbent bike workout, 60 minutes covering 8 miles (in addition to going up and downstairs in my home for what seemed like a thousand times today).  More of the same tomorrow!

Thinking of getting into cycling more. I have a nice bike now for regular riding. At work we have a bunch of guys who ride 200 miles over two day in the Pan Mass Challenge to raise money for cancer its a two day ride and I have toyed with the idea of doing it. I think I'm going to go for a ride today then off to a local New England Style Fair in Durham, CT. Now that will be a test against emotional eating!!

Cycling is great (as I remember) lol!  Haven't been on a real bike in many, many years.  Since my back fracture (and resulting spinal instability), I'm only allowed 2 exercises...recumbent bike or swimming, and I can't swim.  I can't even use my treadmill, which I used to love.  I've thought abou****er aerobics, and I was reading online yesterday about Aqua-cycling, but would have to find a gym that offers it since it's not available everywhere yet.

200 miles in 2 days!  Can you imagine the rush you'd feel after doing that?  I'd say build up to it and GO FOR IT!!  Hope you have a nice Sunday, and careful at the fair...(I'd go for the SEAFOOD :))

Water exercise definitely sounds like a good alternative. I always loved the water. Aqua cycling sounds fun. Yes 200 miles would be a big deal, but what a commitment. The fair went ok. Ate way to much, but almost all of it protein first. So now after splurging back to the plan. Only seafood they had was chowder and fried. Not a big fan of either. Hope you had a great day.
