Good Morning Botts:
Heads up, I did not have my audit on Friday....It was rescheduled for tomorrow....I got cancelled midmorning and then my boss sent me to the court house to work on some taxes and did not get a chance to report back in. My computer at home is down right now. I am ready for the audit so it should go okay.
My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch: Protein Shake
Snack: Brownie Quest Bar
Dinner: BBQ Chicken and Green Beans
Snack: Protein Pudding
My walk this afternoon.
My energy seems low so I am upping my protein and my b12 today for a boost. I hope everybody has a great Monday.
Good Morning!
Ready to get back on my schedule after a crazy weekend! I had a large charity event I hosted on Saturday, and had zero time to eat, so I ate next to nothing the entire day. Sunday I splurged a little and had some sushi for lunch and taco omelet for dinner. I am happy to be done with the 5 day pouch test! I can tell I am eating less, the hubby noticed as well! I have not lost any more weight, but my cloths are feeling baggy :) I may put myself through another round or two in the next few weeks. I have less than four weeks until Mexico!
Today, I have to figure out a plan
B: Protein Drink
S: Coffee and possibly a hard boiled Egg
L: Can of solid white albacore tuna with a tablespoon of yellow mustard
S: Hard Boiled Egg
D: Left over taco omelet or Sushi ( I should stay away from the rice I know but a yummy treat with good protein)
Got my vitamins in, and for exercise 45 minutes of Insanity first thing this morning :)
Have a great day everyone!!
Where did my weekend go? I was just getting started on it and wham it was time to come back to work.
Made a flying trip up to see my oldest son and go look at a rental property with him Saturday morning before he had to go to lunch at noon. Looks like we found him his "first" real home. (College apartments don't count). His girlfriend's birthday was yesterday and his is next week so they're both feeling very blessed at this point. So now I'm waiting on the paperwork to get finished up. We put the deposit down so it's just a matter of letting the ink dry. That means another flying trip this coming weekend to deliver all the household goods and furniture that he and his grandmother have been accumulating over the past year and a half.
Needless to say I didn't make the HEALTHIEST of food choices on my quick trip. Today has been much better. My re-evaluated goal for the week is simply "NO GAIN". I doubt seriously that 2 days of not sticking to the plan will wreck my life.
Breakfast: Coffee & Greek Yogurt
snack: grapes
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad
snack: Celery & Peanut Butter
Dinner: Spaghetti (sauce only for me) & small salad
Hope everyone has a great day. Tess - get a good night's sleep before the audit. Those poor auditors won't know what'**** them.

Happy Monday BOTTs.
The weekend was a nice break from work but very stressful seeing my mom in pain with her back. She is so used to being an active little thing, this is taking an emotional toll on her as well. We just keep counting the blessings that it's not worse than it is and try to go on from there.
I had to run to costco today during my lunch break to buy another case of protein drinks and in very poor judgment, on my way out I swung by the food court, just as if I was a regular person without a weight issue. I bought a chicken bake because it sounded better than the chicken salad today. I asked for it to be cut in half (good move), I ate one half, stopped by another store and was going to toss the other half in the trash on my way in, needless to day, I didn't pick it up on my way out. I came back to it and in the time that it took me to drive back to work, I had eaten the second half of the chicken bake, which was supposed to go to waste, not my waist.
Got back to work, looked it up on myfitnesspal:
Food Court - Chicken Bake (Costco) Serving Size: 1 bake (12.75 oz/361.46 g), Calories: 810, Fat: 30g, Carbs: 78g, Protein: 61g If all you look at is the protein, it's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Carbs, Cals, and fat??? Fuhgedaboudit!!!!) Okay, after I picked myself back up after fainting, I was glad that I'd only had a protein drink this morning, and now I know that I will only have one protein drink for dinner. Other than that, it's water, water, water. Painfully honest, it's the only way I know how to be. Thanks for being my sounding board. Breakfast: protein drink Lunch: chicken bake Dinner: protein drink water, water, and more water. Thought to self: After all is said and done, was it worth it? Once again the answer is NOPE. (shaking my head) Have a nice afternoon/evening BOTTs. Good luck tomorrow, Tess. Gaby
Gaby: I hope your mom has more good days than bad with her back. Now, after picking yourself up from lunch, Wow! 61 grams of protein. Awesome? Calories? Wow! 810 not the best but I had worst and did not get the benefit of all that protein. Look at it as a win, It could have been a Big Mac....Have a great Tuesday!
Posting late again, but better late than never as they say. Relaxed and insightful day on Monday, and it was greatly appreciated after my busy Sunday. Got in 2 recumbent bike workouts totaling 87 minutes and covering 11.2 miles. I was unusually hungry yesterday, but stayed SF although higher calorie, but this morning (Tues) my scale is reading 180 lbs. I was at a standstill at 183 lbs for the last several days, so I guess that plateau has broken. I'll hold off a couple of days to see if it is stabilized before I confirm a 58 lb loss, but I am so happy and grateful to God!
Monday's eats:
B: 2 eggs + 1 egg white (scrambled) with 1 oz cheddar, sandwich thin, 1 tbsp whipped butter, coffee with Splenda, 2 tbsp SF creamer and 5 tbsps FF half & half
L: 5 ozs leftover grilled sirloin, 2 c steamed mixed summer vegs
S: 3 ozs low sodium deli ham, sandwich thin, mustard
D: 6 strips low sodium turkey bacon on sandwich thin, 2 tsps mayo, lettuce, tomato, 1/4 c pork and beans, 4 ozs SF chocolate pudding with 1 tbsp SF creamer
I had planned on grilled chicken for dinner but never made it to the market yesterday. No thawed meat available, so I resorted to a turkey bacon BLT (I'm supposed to be cutting back on the turkey bacon). I'll still cut back on it, and won't have any today. Have a great Tuesday :)
