Happy Hump Day Botters:
This time 18 years ago I was about to push out a 7 1/2 pound baby boy. I am so grateful he waited until I got to the hospital. Even my husband was sweating that we were going to have him on the Interstate highway. But he came 30 minutes later at the hospital all natural. No time for a numbing shot for me. My son has grown into a fine, young man and I am so proud of him. This time next year I will have an empty nest and probably will not know what to do...
My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Protein Bar
Snack: Banana
Dinner: Roast Beef Dip at my Son's Favorite Eating Place
Snack: small sliver of Birthday Cake
I hope everybody has an awesome day and please remember to take your vits and fluids.
Happy Birthing Day to you!! Enjoy your moments with him. I'm amazed at how quickly our little boys grown into full fledged men. Mine even have the beards to prove it. Ahh the joys of an empty nest....I was on the verge of having my nest empty when I met David and basically started over again. Careful what we ask for.
Last night's weigh in was good ---down 1.8 lbs last week. I'll own it!! The haircut didn't end up being drastic, but it feels so good today. Sort of a long shag.
I finally got all the pictures from the wedding photographer last night. They are AMAZING. Well worth the $$ if we'd of paid full price. Luckily she's a great neighbor and friend.
I've got my food planned for the day. I've taken my vitamins and I've already switched over to my decaf tea for the day. Feeling very blessed and optimistic this morning. Hope yall are too.

Thank you for the Happy Birthing Day comment, and awesome job on the 1.8 lb. loss. Moving in the right direction. At least as a couple you get to decide where you want to go, we kids it is a matter of where do they want to go. I don't believe I have been on one trip in the last 20 years that I really wanted to go to. It has all pertained to where would the children enjoy going.
My bucket list:
Cruise (not gonna happen with my hubby, he hates boats)
Hawaii (not until they build a bridge we can drive over)
San Diego (Possibilities are pretty good)
Montana (Maybe)
Disney World (my graduating senior wants the whole family to go to Disney World since he had never been) BAD MAMA (I was pregnant with him when we took our daughter and just did not make it back down there) He said that trip did not count for him....um.....
Good Morning! Happy Birthday to your boy! I have no children yet but I can imagine this is a big adjustment! My husband and I are trying for our first right now, and going through the opposite, I think I will miss my empty house a little ;)
2nd day of the Pouch test today - Yesterday was good for the most part, I had CRAZY dreams that I was eating cookies and fell of the program at the end of the day. Maybe I am a little stressed about this? lol Wow takes me back to my days of surgery, I did struggle with the lost of food and had those dreams. This is a nice wake up call for me.
Heres what I have planned today:
B - Chocolate Protein Drink
S - Coffee, Coffee, more coffee ( I am exhausted today, no sleep) and Sugar free jello cup
L: Another Protein Drink
S: Chicken Broth with Protein
D: Protein drink
S: Sugar Free Jello!!
Exercise - Nothing yet. I gve up on my early morning work out because I am so tired today! I am down 2 lbs since yesterday and 14 since last week. Just crazy to me, but I still have a good 10-15 lbs until I am at goal. I would like to hit this before my trip to Mexico in 4 weeks!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Happy Hump Day BOTTs!
Happy Birthday to your son, Tess. I think children's birthdays are even more special to the moms. : )
My mom was feeling some relief yesterday, God is good.
Yesterday was my last iron infusion for this round. Still feeling a little body achy, normal for me, but I am so looking forward to getting back into my exercise routine. I really miss feeling accomplished after each day of walking. Sometimes it's hard to get going, but I'm never sorry afterward. Endorphins are the best.
Breakfast: Protein drink
Snack: protein bar
Lunch: tuna with lemon & pepper
Snack: nectarine
Dinner: shredded chicken with salsa on a green salad
Snack: string cheese
Have a great day, all.
Gaby
