Good Morning Botters:

It is rainy fast and furious this morning and thankfully, I got in to work before the bottom fell out.  I had a wonderful evening last night with my family celebrating my son's birthday early.  We ate out a local Mexican place that we all loved and then came home for cake and ice cream.  Yes, I did indulge in cake and ice cream but a small slice and 1 spoon full only.  I had a steak quesadilla for dinner.  It is hard to believe that my baby is going to be 18 tomorrow.  Where has the time gone?

My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Lunch:  I thinking a bowl of Oatmeal

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Dinner:  Chicken Fajitas

Snack:  I am sure I will be having another small slice of cake

Biking for exercise

I hope everybody has an awesome day and remember those vits and fluids.

Didn't know it would be a side effect but when I had my iron infusions, my RLS went away. Go get those labs drawn.

if it is not iron - then extra magnesium with calcium before bed works for me. Also - diet tonic water.  Great for muscle cramps.  ( I make sure it gets flat before I drink it and I don't use generic - the generic has nutrasweet - that give me headaches. The original formula  has saccharine - and my body tolerates that better than other artificial sweeteners.  )

Good Morning Everyone!

Starting my 5 day pouch test today, I am a little nervous but I know it is mind over matter!

Here is what I have planned for the day:

B: Protein drink which I am still working on , and coffee with Sugar Free French Van. Creamer

S: Water - maybe some Chicken Broth with protein

L: Protein Drink - Almond Milk and Unjury

S: Chicken Broth with Protein

D: Protein Drink

S: Sugar free Jello, I love this stuff!

Hopefully this goes well! For exercise I worked out to the Insanity DVD program that was 45 minutes today, and will go for a walk with the hubby tonight before dinner.

I want to get back into my skinny jeans! I can do this!!

You can do it! You will be surprised how you feel later on during the week. I will tell you that the hardest part, at least for me, was day 3 and day 6. I wasn't really as prepared for eating "real" food and kinda  fell of the wagon. Day 6 is very much mind over matter but it is possible. Good luck! Don't  feel defeated if you gain a few pounds back it seems like it's pretty common.

Good morning BOTTs.

Tess it sounds like you had a wonderful time celebrating your son's birthday.  My son turned 20 this past August and I am still reeling from it!  Where oh where does the time go?   Every day is so so precious.

Things are a little off for me right now...I mindlessly grabbed about 12 chocolate covered espresso beans, crunched them up and swallowed them before I could even tell myself that if I was going to have them, take the time to enjoy each one.  haha..maybe I needed coffee before I could be smart about coffee beans!

Breakfast:  espresso beans(?)

Snack:  protein drink

Lunch:  small chili from Wendy's

Snack:  protein bar

Dinner:  shredded chicken taco

Snack:  peach and string cheese

My water drinking was way down yesterday so that is a focus for today.

Have a nice day all.

Gaby

Hi Gaby:  This best thing about grabbing food and mindlessly eating them is afterwards.  We get to start over brand new again with a clean slate.  Hopefully, it will be better today!  Have good one!

My goodness, I didn't think I would make it through the first day of the 5DPT yesterday!  I was shaky and nervous and by bed time i felt nauseous.  But today I'm doing much better.  I know how you all feel about your babies growing up too fast.  My son is 19, my daughter is 12...and I want my little boy and little girl back!  I really miss being the mom of little kids...but not enough to start over lol.
