Good morning/afternoon BOTTs.
If you are spiritual, I'd appreciate healing thoughts or prayers for my sweet mother. She had a terrible fall on Friday and broke her back. She is in a back brace and in a wheelchair for now. Her pain is really bad and she's on morphine to help lesson it which makes her extremely groggy. She lives very close to me so I will be able to spend a lot of time helping her out. It's always something, ya know?
Breakfast: bowl of cereal (it sounded soothing, however about halfway through, I got that icky feeling and gave the rest to the dog.)
Lunch: protein drink
Snack: nectarine and string cheese
Dinner: baked chicken and string beans
Snack: protein drink
Hoping for a good week. Working on keeping my emotions in line so that I can focus on the positive.

Prayers sent up for your mom, and for you too, Gaby. I have been trying to recover from a broken back (happened at work last Halloween while lifting a patient) and it's not easy. I needed a lot of help in the beginning, so I know your mom is fortunate to have you so close. May God bless you both with good outcomes :)
Hello!
My first time posting here, but thought I would give it a shot! I have done really well keeping my calories around 1000-1100 since last week. I am down 12 lbs since last week Tuesday, not really sure what that is about since my weight has been all over the place, but I'll take the loss. I am counting calories for the first time in a long time, and I will say it is not easy to keep these calories down! I am however more conscious of what I am eating and drinking. I just had dinner and I am still hungry so I thought posting would distract me!
Here is my day:
Breakfast: Unjury Protein drink with berries
S: Coffee and more coffee with French Vanilla creamer (my big weakness!)
L - Spinach Salad with raw Veggies and 2 hard boiled eggs (ff Vinaigrette Dressing)
S: a bite sized snickers (naughty I know)
Dinner - Small Pork Chop with Asparagus
Its been a rough day, and I finished out only slightly above my goal but in all it was a good day.
Tomorrow I start back on my insanity program at 5:45AM for an hour long work out each day.

Posting early (for me) this evening. Was going to visit a local fishing pier to see what was up but decided I would rather veg out and watch TV instead. Recumbent bike workout done earlier, 40 minutes covering 5.3 miles. Today I ate:
B: 3/4 c egg salad on sandwich thin, 3 strips low sodium turkey bacon
L: large apple, 2 Laughing Cow Light Swiss cheese wedges
S: Iced coffee with Splenda, 2 tbsps SF pumpkin spice creamer and 4 tbsps FF half & half, 2 strips low sodium turkey bacon
D: 5 oz lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 slice (1/2 oz) deli thin cheddar, mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, dill pickle slices, 1/2 c cooked cabbage
