Sunday - Funday
Not very nice weather outside for Sunday/Funday so how about some FOOTBALL? Nascar? America's Cup? Movies? What I want to know is what are you doing to relax today?
I know yall won't believe this but I've done laundry and housework today. I wouldn't say it was part of my Funday but I'm so thankful that I've got the energy back to do something about it. The TV has been on and I've watched a little bit of everything....football, racing, sailing, HGTV and Netflix (I'm addicted to Private Practice).
Sheila you inspired me to clean out the closet. Dear Me...what a disaster area. Plus now that I've sorted, organized and purged I'm afraid I have a hoarding confession. I apparently have an unhealthy attachment to reusable shopping bags. There must have been 30 of them in the closet-----not in the trunk of the car or even in the pantry---tucked away in the depths of the master bedroom closet. Maybe it's where they go to spawn and now I've upset the balance of nature. lol.
I've cooked a big pot of vegetable beef soup for the week. So I've got a jumpstart on my work week. Yee Haw!!

Iris, you just got me with the soup. Gotta make some myself, as that's what I love to do in the fall...make soup and chili. My fun day was spen****ching TV, riding my bike and chatting on the phone. I also cooked a red drum (puppy drum) that was given to me on the pier Tuesday night. It was great! I'm watching the Emmy Awards as I write this, and thinking about a snack later on. Pain meds are on board, and I'm a little loopy right now, but the back feels better (knock wood).
Got 2 bike workouts in today for a total of 98 minutes, covering 12.4 miles. Today I ate:
B: 1 c All Bran with Splenda, 1 c almond milk, 3 tbsps SF pumpkin spice creamer, 4 strips low sodium turkey bacon
L: 1 c beef stir-fry mixed with 1 c chicken stir-fry ( mostly vegs and no rice... I was cleaning out the fridge :)
D: 8 oz fried red drum filet, coffee with Splenda, 6 tbsps FF half & half
S: not sure yet, but either an apple or 4 ozs SF pudding
Iris, I started on the closet and stopped after 30 mins. Planned to tackle it today but didn't, so it's on the agenda for tomorrow. Have a good night friends :)
