Hi Melissa.
It's only recently that I have changed my eating. Right now I am working on losing about 30 lbs of regain. In retrospect, I began to regain some of my weight at the same time that my iron levels were getting very low. I didn't realize this at the time but looking back, that was when my exercising became almost nil due to very low energy level. It spiraled down from there because when I don't exercise, my depression increases, which leads to emotional eating...for me it became a carb thing, mostly slider foods because I wouldn't dump on them. Not exercising and then eating wrong lead to my regain.
I am now working the "basics", high protein, low carb, etc. I rarely feel physical hunger so it's a head game with me. One of the best tools I have is this group...if I feel like I'm going to go overboard with my eating, I try to pause and lurk around this website instead. I am still learning or relearning and it's a struggle, but physically I am feeling better and more in control again.

My eats:
B: 1/2 c chex cereal with 1/4c milk and half a banana
l: not sure maybe salad and the leftover turkey ppattie
d: it's our 11 year anniversity so either we go out to dinner or making chicken Parmesan
already took my vitamins and will start working on my water and protein here in a bbit hope you guys have a great day!
Good evening, BOTT friends,
WHAT A DAY!!!! I have been going non-stop (and on 3 hrs sleep) all day since 5:30 this a.m. It's going on midnight now, and I'm trying to wind down. I left for a small shopping trip at 11:30 a.m. to find my granddaughters ballet slippers, tights and leotard. She started creative dance class for her age group (age 5) and her sister started hip-hop dance class (age 11). This errand turned into an all day, all evening and part of the night fun fest for the girls, and an "on my feet all day" event for Grandma. I never sat all day except for driving, and spent all afternoon/evening at the playground watching over 4 little ones. My body hurts tonight.
No bike workout needed tonight. Today I ate:
B: 6 strips low sodium turkey bacon, iced coffee with Splenda, 5 tbsps SF pumpkin spice creamer
L: small grilled chicken leg (skinless)
S: 1.75 oz bag roasted peanuts at the park
D: 6ozs leftover homemade meatballs with marinara, 2 tbsps grated parmesan, 1/2 c green beans
