Good morning BOTTs.

I am anxious for my iron to kick in.  : )    For me it takes a few weeks, there's a lot of binding that needs to take place but gradually my energy level comes back and my head gets more and more clear.  PLUS a huge bonus is that my restless leg syndrome all but disappears almost instantly.  That is a Godsend.  Ahhhh....to really relax.

Breakfast:  Protein drink

Snack: protein bar

Lunch:  tuna stuffed tomato

Snack:  celery and peanut butter

Dinner:  grilled fish tacos

Snack:  protein bar

Have a great day!

The end of restless leg syndrome was a great unexpected benefit!!!!!!!!! I love not lying in bed twitching and jerking.

Thankfully Monday is over and done with. I'm just going to blame it on the hormones and the upcoming full moon....that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Overall energy levels are great today. I got some housework done before heading to work this morning. Got the crockpot out and set up too. I get to go home to a semi-clean house and a cooked dinner. YEAH!!! I'm even looking forward to a Weigh****chers meeting tonight afterwork. Now if only the Man-Child and son don't wreck the house before I get there.

Eats for today are looking like:

Breakfast:  Banana Smoothie w/ flax seed & vanilla protein

commute:  coffee

snack:      Cheese & wheat thins

Lunch:      2 chicken wings & salad & coke zero

snack:      Apple & peanut butter

Dinner:      Mexican chicken

I've been slow on my sipping so far today so I better start chugging my decaf tea if I'm going to meet my 8 glasses goal for the day. Vitamins are in for the day. It was also an estrogen day so the mood swings have subsided and leveled off.  Hope yall have a great afternoon & evening.

Thanks for posing about your Miralax mix...I might try it on Saturday (maybe before) and see how it goes...it is amazing how it really has no taste.

I have been doing my protein mix in the coffee for so long it really is my preference now.  I even make it at work, using a frother, if I have coffee.  I keep a mix of powdered milk and cinn/vanilla protein powder  and mix it up and add it to the coffee - yum....they call me Starbucks at work!

My friend that got sleeved is now a convert, too!  For me it is a great way to get 30 gms of protein first thing in the morning.

I wonder how many things can be added to coffee before it is no longer coffee....good thing I have a huge mug - LOL

I think that why some coffee shops call their concoctions "coffee drinks" not coffee.  It sounds pretty good what you are mixing though.  I have about 20 bottles of different flavors of sugar free syrups that I play with.  I got hook on the Praline though.  I am fixin to switch to English Toffee tomorrow.  Out of my Praline......

We had a potluck at work today and I only ate what I knew was good choices for me.  I took a little piece of birthday cake - luckily back to my desk, took one bite and threw the rest away.!  Someone else brought brownies and lucky for me they cut them into 1x2 inch pieces so I had one and wrapped one up in a ziplock for tomorrow or maybe even Thursday.  I did not feel deprived one bit not taking more food or not taking other stuff people brought and made and nobody noticed or said, have some of what I brought.  I hope these feelings of relief are further signs of positive change!!!
