Back On Track Together
New to the group
Hi All,
My name is Loni and I'm new to this group and am looking forward to getting things back under control. I had RNY and lost over 118 lbs initially. 3 yrs ago I had to have a complete hysterectomy and was put into surgical menopause and shortly following my weight gain began and have found myself with 75 lbs to lose. I can't even believe I am here at this point again but I am and I'm not going to beat myself up I'm just going to get busy losing it again once and for all. If anyone has any advice to help me I would greatly appreciate it. I decided to join Weigh****chers thru my work to help me keep on track and give me some accountability and as of yesterday I've lost 5.6lbs. Woohoo so happy to see that 5 lbs gone.
Welcome Loni. I know when you say it out loud that I have 75 lbs. to lose it seems over whelming but you can lose it again. I am living proof. I dropped 70 lbs. regain in 8 months. Just break up your weight in 10 lb. goals and as each is achieved, move on to the next 10 lbs. You have a great beginning by coming here to be accountable along with joining a weight lost group. Keep doing it and you will be down again before you know it. Best of luck to you.
Hi Loni and welcome aboard. It sounds like you're on the right track. You have a plan and it's obviously working. Congratulations on the 5.6 lbs that are gone. That's great. I'm sure it's enough to emotionally jumpstart you and get your head in the game.
You've got this. We're here to cheer you on and help out anyway that we can.

Hi Loni.
Welcome to our group. You will find lots of information and support here. This is a great place to ask questions, give advice, tell about your successes and challenges, and to be yourself while having a place to be accountable. Congrats on the 5 pound loss, it's great motivation, isn't it? (:

Welcome Loni!
I recently got back on here at BOTT, too. Glad you are making progress with WW and congrats on the loss! In the last 7 weeks, I am averaging 2 pounds a week (note, that is averaged loss - LOL) and it is the best progress I have made since I started gaining weight 2-3 years ago. I was so terrified of the dieting Merry-Go-Round that I did nothing and jus****ched the weight creep back on and got more depressed and anxious and turned inward. Last night I was telling my husband, for once, I do not feel like I am on a diet; I feel like I am truly making changes and learning a new way to live.
