Good Morning Botters:
Another lovely day in my neck of the woods. I have made it through 3 days of protein liquids and pudding and doing quite well. I will not weigh until Tuesday to see what my final lost will be but I know I am dropping pounds for my pants are getting loose again in the waist. Yay me!!! My son wants to know can we go out to eat tomorrow night, hummmmm. I may have to take him to a smoothie bar. Yeah right! My eats today are still protein shakes and pudding and a banana for some added potassium, I had calf cramps this morning at 3:30 AM. A very rude awakening. Doing fine now though.
Hope everybody has an awesome day and weekend. Please remember those vits and fluids.
Happy Friday BOTTs.
Oh Tess! Leg cramps are the worse kind of rude awakening!!! Get that potassium going quick!
I have said a few little prayers for a cooling trend to come about for the weekend, so we shall see.
I have very much enjoyed this 4 day work-week. Too bad I can't arrange to have this schedule every week.
Breakfast: Protein drink & nectarine
Snack: grapes and string cheese
Lunch: Taco salad with ground turkey and no tortilla.
Snack: Protein bar
Dinner: fish and salad
Snack: greek yogurt
Using the stairs every chance I get because walking outside lately is just not an option.
Always a great reminder for vits and fluids.
Have a great weekend.

It has been the longest work day in the history of the world!! I swear someone has messed with our clock and turned it backwards. Oh well. just a little more than a half hour and it's the weekend again!!! Today is my Moma's birthday. After everything we've been through with her in the past 6 months --I'm very thankful to celebrate another safe passage around the sun with her.
I got a great work out last night ---cleaning house like a MANIAC. I got it done from top to bottom in about 2 hours. I think everyone thought I was mad with them because I wouldn't stop to chat or slow down to accomodate questions.
Today has been a fairly good day - food and beverage wise.
Breakfast: Cheerios with FF lactose free milk
commute: coffee
snack: grapes & almonds
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich on 6 inch flatbread (leftover from dinner last night)
snack: cheese & sf popcicle
Dinner: Chicken Fajitas
I doubt I'll get my walk in tonight but I will make up for it this weekend. The weather here is fabulous today and supposed to be the same again tomorrow. We've got family coming in tonight late. A birthday dinner at the local mexican joint for Moma's birthday tonight. Another birthday dinner again Sunday after church. It's going to be a busy weekend. Not sure if I'll be online again until Monday.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

You kicked butt on the house cleaning, Iris!! I know what you mean about cleaning like a maniac....there have been times that I was hell bent on getting it done and getting it done fast and I think my family felt like they had to walk on eggshells because I wasn't stopping for anything. It's a crazy "zone" that we can get ourselves in. Sure feels great when it's all done and there's nothing lingering to weigh you down tho.
Happy Birthday to your Moma! My beautiful mother's birthday is the 16th of this month so I am trying to think of something special to do with her. Mani/Pedis are always a great way for us to start. : )
Enjoy your weekend.

Afternoon everyone! Ugh! Day 5 was a lot harder than I expected.... It didn't go to well for but it could have worse. I decided to just have day 5 again today:
pre-breakfast: 8 oz protein shake
breakfast: 1 whole egg/1 egg white scramble with cheddar, ham, and cherry tomato
lunch: watermelon and toast
snack: 8 oz protein made with almond milk (yummy!)
dinner: tri tip (super excited for this!)
maybe some sf jello or another shake I know so far haven't had enough......
Hope you all have a great weekend
Stay strong, you are doing great! A smart quote that I read on here once was: "Remember, you will not drop over dead in a heap if you don't give in to a craving." Easier said than done, but it sure makes sense to me.
I have only been eating fish and poultry for quite a while now, but I have to admit...a tri-tip sure sounds delicious. Enjoy it!!!
Have a nice weekend.

Thank you for the support! I only had the one piece of toast and feel so much better than I did yesterday (a lot more carbs) . I feel that if I don't give in, with control, then it will consume me and I will eat way more than I would have in the first place. I'm getting there. Posting to this board has helped me as well, it's keeping me honest
