It's just one more day until my 3 day weekend!!! So looking forward to a much needed break. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Protein Bar
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Cheese & Crackers
Dinner: Cheese Burger on Sandwich Thin
Snack: NSA Ice Cream Sandwich
I may have some grapes with my cheese and crackers. Not sure yet.

1 more day!!! Whoopie!!! Mountains here I come. Just gotta make it through today. I've only got another hour at work today then off for Iron Infusion #3. Then a pile of errands while I'm in town (dmv, dry cleaners and all of those "fun" things)
I got the insurance statement this morning for hte first Iron infusion. $974. WHAT?!?!?!?!?! All I can say is thank God for insurance. I hate that I have a fairly high deductible but I did set up a Health Savings Account from pretax income that will cover the difference. So now I know my deductible is met for the year (year just started July 1).
Planning on a fairly balanced food & activity day.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast #2 : Yogurt & Granola
Lunch: Grilled chicken salad w/ ranch dressing
snack: Grapes & Almonds
Dinner: Grilled Fish with fresh squash & cucumbers
Lots of walking today. Got a new water bottle and I'm ready for most anything today.

I can hardly sit still because I am taking tomorrow off of work, making it a 4-day weekend. Ahhhhhhh.....I love the sound of that! I could get used to working 4 days and then having 4 days off. : ) No big plans for the weekend, just "taking care of me" time.

Lunch: salad with chicken breast
Snack: string cheese and apple
Dinner: not sure yet, but sushi sounds heavenly right now : )

Good evening, BOTT friends,
Quick one tonight. Have to have an ultrasound of my neck in the morning as a follow-up to my thyroidectomy that was done way back in 1986. It's all a part of my endocrinologist's efforts to find the cause of my osteoporosis being so stubborn. So I have a full day ahead, including babysitting my granddaughters. Got my recumbent bike workout in for 48 mins, covering 5.3 miles. Today I ate:
B: 1 egg + 1 egg white scrambled, 5 strips turkey bacon, sandwich thin with 1 tbsp butter sub
L: 1 c tuna salad, small tomato
S: medium grilled chicken thigh (skinless), McDonald's SF iced coffee with 1 tbsp SF creamer added
D: 5 oz lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 sl deli cheese, mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, few dill pickle slices
