I overslept this morning. I was sleeping really good when I heard the dog barking at the garbage truck...YIKES!!! I think this morning may count as my cardio for the day. My feet hit the floor at a marathon pace. Cameron & I somehow managed to make it out the door and on the road only about 3 minutes behind schedule.

Breakfast:  Protein shake (I was shaking it up as we got in the car!!)

commute:  ^^^^^^  (had coffee with me but I wanted to give my shake 30 minutes without drinking so needless to say my coffee became Iced coffee once I got to work and got settled)

snack:   Grapes & cheese stick

Lunch:   Weigh****chers Frozen entree (I think it's turkey)

snack:   Peanut butter & celery

Dinner:   ??? not sure since I didn't take anything out of the freezer. I'm thinking tuna salad, whole wheat crackers and watermelon & cantaloupe.

Not sure if I'll get a walk in tonight or not. I've got some housework to do and get myself packed for this weekend's trip. Tomorrow is Iron Infusion #3 and if it serves me like the last 2 I'll be exhausted when I come home. Plus the gang that's going out of town with me will be picking me up from work when I get off at 5. So unless I want to rewear my Friday work clothes I'd better get it in gear tonight.

One great thing about this weekend's trip is I have the meals planned out and all the necessities already bought and ready to go. We will be eating healthy. I am planning on a smore around the campfire Saturday night but I've planned my menu and activity around that splurge. I can't wait.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning BOTTs.

*Note to Tess, I can sure appreciate your issue with Aunt Flo.  Now knowing "when" is the worst!!  I like to think I am prepared but sometimes BLAMO!  It comes out of nowhere, and often with a vengence!!  It's no wonder I am about due for another iron infusion.  ;)

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Just had one of the greatest BLT's I ever ate, and low sodium turkey bacon was the star.  I think I'll do it again very soon.  Today was great in that I had 2 workouts on my recumbent bike while passing the time on the phone.  Before I knew it, I was finished with the 2nd one, for a total of 104 minutes, covering 11.7 miles.  It felt like only a few minutes.  Watching late night TV now, relaxed and happy that I made it through another day of planned eats.  Today I ate:

B:  1/2 c pistachios (in shell), coffee with Splenda and 4 tbsps light half & half

L:  4 ozs low sodium deli ham on sandwich thin, 2 tsps mustard, lettuce, tomato

S:  2 ozs grilled sirloin, sliced cucumber with vinegar, S&P

D:  6 strips low sodium turkey bacon on sandwich thin, 1 tbsp mayo, lettuce, tomato

S:  1 1/4 c cubed cantaloupe

Goodnight friends :)
