Good Morning Botters:

Monday, Monday, Monday, where do I begin?  Do I start with the flat tire on the truck or the air tank that was empty of air?  Or that I forgot my lunch today?  Or that I got up late to discover all of this?  Long Story short, I got the air tank filled, the tire aired and to the repair shop and I have an emergency bar in my drawer at work.  Crisis avoided... So how is your Monday?  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vitatop Bar

Dinner:  Chicken Fajitas

Snack:  2 Toffee Crackers (My sin I know)

Hope your Monday started off better than mine.  Remember those vits and fluids and have a great day!

Edit at 1:10 PM.  My air conditioning at my office just went out.  Can we say MONDAY FROM HADES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Tess ---your Monday morning sucks!!! lol. It sounds like it's gotten better already though so just hang in there. Mine is fairly blah ...I was having a very heated conversation on why I needed a raise and a new car...but then the alarm woke me up so I'm pretty sure it was all a dream.

4 more days and we're headed to the mountains for a few days of R&R. My step sister did an insane amount of work on my wedding (flowers, cake, decorating & cigars) that she wouldn't let me pay her for. My neice made sure she closed her salon that day (everyone stays open for hoildays in the summer time on the beach) and then she did all of the hair and make up for the wedding party and close family members. She wouldn't let me pay her either. So I'm taking these two beautiful women and their men with us to the mountains. I can only hope we have weather like this weekend ---cool nights and sunny days. Oh man I can smell the crisp, clean air and hear the crackle of the bon fire now. Not to mention the laughter that spills out of this group when we're all together. Can't wait to make some memories.

Today is planned to almost perfection. All I have to do is stay the course.

Breakfast:  Scrambled egg on a peice of whole wheat toast.

commute:  Coffee

Breafast #2:  Greek Yogurt & small handful of granola

Lunch:  Chef salad with some ranch dressing

snack:  Homemade Guacamole & portion of seasalt popcorn chips

dinner:  Roast Chicken & Green Limas with tomatoes  (at my Moma's)

Going for a walk with Moma tonight while David & Cameron do the finish work on her yard (weedeating, edging & that yucky stuff) But she's feeding us so I'm all about them working!!!!

I've got a fresh gallon of unsweet decaf tea in the fridge. I've taken the morning meds and vitamins so all that's left is a 2nd fish oil this evening. It's going to be a great day.

You either got to laugh or cry so I will always try to see the positive side of things.  Besides that, my husband had on brand new shoes so we decide to blame the tire issue on the new shoes.  Don't ask me why.  Sounds like y'all are going to have an awesome time this Labor Day Weekend.  Good times are always had when family and good friends get together.  Have a great day!

Good morning BOTTs.

I didn't check in here over the weekend but I just now read the wonderful and inspirational posts.

This weekend was very hot and humid and it wasn't very productive physically but my family got together for a little reunion on Saturday down by the bay.  It was very nice and non-stressful and there was a nice breeze coming off of the water.  I didn't realize until I got home that my shoulders and face had gotten too much sun.  Feeling better now but was quite tender yesterday!  I had a protein drink on the way to the bay and so I was able to focus on the family versus the food sprawl on the picnic table.  kiss

B-  Protein bar

S-  strawberries and string cheese

L-  Berry-almond-chicken-salad from Wendy's

S-  protein drink

D-  fish and veggies

S-  celery sticks and lo fat cream cheese

My water intake was low over the weekend so I am going to try to get back up to par today,

Have a happy day, BOTTs.

Gaby

I was inspired from all the post over the weekend too!  Picnic's are not my down fall just because I don't eat much in the heat.  It kinda nausea's me.  You are doing really good.  Keep up the great job!

Always a good idea to do the shake before being faced with lots of temptation.  BTW, your food choices look great!  Hope your sunburn is better :)

This may be my most favorite check in of all times. I'd be tempted to pat my belly and say "Yep still where I can see it".

Gotta have some laughs in life...thanks for giving me this one.

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Tough start of the week for you Tess, but hopefully it got better.  My day was spent babysitting the 5yr old granddaughter who wanted breakfast as soon as she arrived at 6:30 am, then woke me up at 9 saying she wanted lunch!  She didn't eat all of her cereal at breakfast, so I couldn't question her hunger.  Luckily, she only wanted a PB&J sandwich at 9, so I napped on and off until 11.

Recumbent bike workout done in 2 sessions since I was in my den on the phone for a good part of the day, so I rode my bike while chatting.  I totaled 87 minutes and 10.8 miles.  Today I ate:

B:  5 strips turkey bacon, coffee with 4 tbsps SF creamer and 1 tbsp light half & half

L:  Chef's salad including 3.5 ozs deli ham, 1 egg, 2 tbsps shredded parmesan and 1 tbsp each reg French and light ranch dressing

S:  1/2 c pistachios (in shell), Light & Fit Greek yogurt

D:  5 ozs broiled fish (croaker), 5/8 c seasoned black beans

LNS:  4 ozs SF vanilla pudding

Goodnight friends :)
