Happy Friday BOTTs.

 

I hope you don't mind, Tess, and I hope you're feeling better. 

I have an appointment today to have blood drawn for all of my labs.  Fasting labs, at that.  Normally I schedule my lab visit for first thing in the morning, but I had to make it for noon today.  I have to say that after waiting all this time, my protein shake is sure sounding tasty. 

I am curious to find out how my iron is doing, it's been almost a year since my last infusion. 

B-  water

S-  more water

L-  Protein shake

S-  Protein bar

D-  Fish and veggies

S- boiled egg and grapes

I plan to go for a walk this afternoon.

Thank you so much for starting the thread.

My boss has been at the office all week and my desk looks like a twister ha**** it.  I don't know if I am coming or going.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  Popcorn Chicken

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Dinner:  ?????????????? I just do not have anything plan for tonight yet.

Snack:  Low cal popcorn

Have a great weekend everybody and remember those vits and fluids.

Friday!! Friday!! Friday!! It's been a long week and I'm hoping that time moves slowly for the weekend. We've got family in town and would like to spend most of our time outdoors and on the water.

A very dear friend of my family was diagnosed with breast cancer this week. She's 2 years older than I am. Our kids have all grown up together. It's been a very emotional week because of it. (Plus my doc is trying to ease me off of my hormones so I'm pretty much an emotional train wreck anyway.)

I'm drinking, drinking and drinking today. Can't seem to get enough to drink. I have noticed that I'm not eating as much ice the last few days. Hopefully that's another sign that the iron infusions are working.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Commute: coffee

Breakfast #2 : 1/2 bagel with cream cheese

Lunch: Chili

snack:  Popcorn chips and leftover yogurt dip from yesterday

dinner:  Seafood & salad

Good evening, BOTT friends,

 

Short post tonight.  No recumbent bike workout today.  Today I ate:

 

B:  3 strips turkey bacon

L:  small grilled chicken leg and wing (skinless)

S:  1 c pistachios (in shell****d coffee with Splenda, 6 tbsps light half & half

D:  medium grilled chicken breast (skinless), 3/4 c black beans
