Good evening, BOTT friends,
Another short one tonight. Bike workout done, 70 minutes covering 10.1 miles. Still trying to get my water in daily. Good thing is I am officially 188 lbs for a total loss of 50 lbs since starting BOTT in February. I can see my first goal on the horizon! Today I ate:
B: 4 strips turkey bacon, coffee with Splenda and 4 tbsps light half & half
L: 4 ozs deli ham on sandwich thin, 2 tsps mayo, lettuce, tomato and sliced cucumbers with vinegar S&P
S: Light & Fit Greek yogurt, 1/2 banana
D: medium grilled chicken breast and thigh (skinless)
Need to concentrate on more vegs. I'm missing them...just didn't have time to shop today but will get them tomorrow. Goodnight friends :)
Thanks, Tess! I think I have finally found what works for me, and I can do this way of eating from now on. But I will always remember that I still kept off over 100 lbs of my original weight loss (despite the 71 lb re-gain), and that counts for a LOT! We should all remember that we did keep off some of our original weight loss, and we are more aware of how to keep ourselves healthy through exercise, supplements, and better eating. We should never think of ourselves as failures.
Thanks! I yo-yo'd for years after my original weight loss, finally regaining 71 of my original 177 lb loss. Then I logged back in to OH and found BOTT. It was a life changing event for me. I love this site, and the people I've encountered are so warm, giving, and non-judgmental. I am always taking notes on others' meals so I can vary my own.
