Sorry Botts for being so late last two days.  My boss has been hopping and so have I.  My eats for today are:

 

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Grapes

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Tuna on sandwich thins

 

Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.

Good morning.  It's not late for me, Tess, it's not even 10am yet where I live.

 

Beautiful outside today, I will have to break away from my office and take a walk or two.

B- protein drink

S- protein bar

L- protein drink

S- yogurt

D- chicken breast with salsa and salad

S-  2 graham crackers w/ peanut butter

Vits done, now working on the fluids.

Oh Happy Day...I've got my vitamins in. I'm working on my water (in the form of unsweet decaf at the moment). Got a short walk in during my lunch hour. Life is very good.

breakfast: protein bar

commute: coffee

Breakfast #2: 1/2 bagel with peanut butter

Lunch:  Chicken salad with lettuce & sliced tomatoes on a wrap

snack:   Coffee

Dinner:  Steeak fajitas

lns:  fruit smoothie (if I'm up late)

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Hello Ladies.
I'm pretty new to this board but Im here to hang out with you guys and get support from everyone.

One quick question.
What kind of protien bars are you buying? I would love to know.

I just bought  a big box of "Pure Protein" 20g protein bars from Costco.  They have 2-3 g of sugar each.  It's a variety of 3 different kinds (choco-peanut butter, choc chip, and chocolate).  I've only had the choc peanut butter so far, it was pretty good. 

Several people I know use Quest protein bars and love them.  I haven't tried them yet, however. 

Do you have any experience with different brands of protein bars?

I don't have many protien bar experience, I just keep buying the same one over and over again.
I will be making a trip to Costco. 2-3g of sugar is not that bad. I can keep up with that.

Glad to have you on board!  I am a huge fan of the Quest Protein Bars.  Heated up, they keep me full and going for several hours.  I also, will eat the Pure Protein Bars but they do not hold me up as long as the Quest Protein Bars do.

Some of protein bars have lots of Sugar Alcohols - watch for that if you are sensitive to them. A lot of people love quest bars - but I found out the hard way that they do make me dump and then gave me RH.. and I also gained weight when I tried to use one quest bar a day instead of a meal.. Some people can digest and absorb the fiber they use in those as simple sugars (I can and there is bunch of other people) 

I know Tess is doing great on them as well as many other people, but make sure you can tolerate them.  I only use protein bars as an emergency-  when I need to bring my BS up really fast.. (crashing to to RH, or exercise). Otherwise I eat nuts and normal foods.
