Good Morning Botts:

Another cool morning in the neighborhood.  I am loving the temperatures this week.  The high for today is 78 in August in Mississippi, WOW!!!!  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Grapes

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Chicken Fajitas

Snack:  Biscotti

Exercise:  2.5 miles around the neighborhood this evening.  I did make it yesterday too!\

Have a great Thursday, remember your vits and fluids, and get out and do something different today.  It might make you feel good!

I'm feeling very, very sleepy today (and achy). Had my first iron infusion yesterday. It actually went better than I had anticipated. I hope I can still say that in another 4 weeks when this is all over. From what I've read this morning's sluggishness and aches are pretty common to the infusion.

Breakfast:  Banana & Peanut Butter (6:30)

Commute: coffee

snack:    1/2 bagel with provolone and deli chicken (10)

Lunch:    Chef's salad with ff french dressing  (1)

snack:     the other 1/2 of chicken bagel  (4)

dinner:    Steamed shrimp & sausage from low country boil (8:30)

Not sure what kind of exercise I'll get in today. We've got Open House at the Boy's school tonight and the timing of that makes everything off kilter for the day. Trying to plan the eats out as small meals through out the day. Late in the day gets hard so I may end up throwing in a small, small, small snack between the "snack" and dinner. I do okay about 3 hours apart...longer than that and I get a little on the crabby side.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I am glad that the iron infusion went well for you.  I get crabby after 2 1/2 hours of not eating something, I am in full "*****y" mode after that!

Good evening, BOTT friends,

 

Great day weather-wise with all the cool air.  Sad though, because my fishing buddy went out on a boat today and the bite was great.  Sad because I couldn't go :(  I'll get there, sooner or later, but not until my back is better and I can lift again.  I'm going on a road trip with my boyfriend this weekend.  A short overnighter, but staying at a plush hotel and ordering room service...just to get away from everything and get a little pampering while I'm at it.  It's job related for him, so he'll be in meetings, and I'll be lolling in bed reading and enjoying myself.  We plan to spend time on the road both ways, stopping at various places of interest and roadside fruit and vegetable stands, flea markets, and ANY interesting looking bodies of water that may hold a fish or two, lol.  We're not planning to actually fish, but jus****ch any anglers who may be out there.

Got my bike workout done in 2 sessions today totaling 62 minutes, covering 7.3 miles.  Today I ate:

 

B:  1 egg fried in Pam, 2.5 ozs deli ham, 1/2 oz cheddar on sandwich thin

S:  medium plum

L:  2 chicken sausage links with mustard, Iced coffee with Splenda and 3 tbsps FF Cool Whip

S:  Light and Fit Greek yogurt

D:  6 ozs homemade meatballs in marinara, 1/2 c green beans
