Good Morning Botters:

All is well here in Mississippi.  School has started back, traffic is bumper to bumper, humidity is high but life goes on and so do I.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

2nd Breakfast:  Unjury Protein Shake (I feel like a hobbit when I say 2nd breakfast!) ;)

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Grapes

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Roast Beef Fajitas

Snack:  Vanilla Protein Pudding

Exercise:  2.5 miles around the neighborhood at 5:35 AM this morning.  Paper girl was more respectful this morning.  Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.

All is well here in Michigan...or atleast as well as can be right now.  I am having my mood meds adjusted and feel much better already!  Through it all I have still paid attention to my diet and I am losing weight again.  I think my major stall is finally over.  Since it ended about the time I went back on the meds I'm wondering if the stall was due to the chemical imbalance.  Something to think about and something to ask my doc too!  Only 40 more lbs to go and I have 8 months (5 lbs per month) to reach that before the year is up.  I gave myself as a goal date when I began on 3/7/2013 until my 61st birthday which is 4/18/2014! I'm on track! I have lost 49 since I started and that was 5 1/2 months ago. It's been a long journey since surgery in 2006 but I'm hard headed and it takes me many mistakes to learn my lesson.  I"m just glad I have learned them.

Been missing you!  Glad you are doing so much better.  You will have that 40 lbs. knocked out in no time at all.  Congratulations on the 49 lbs. lost so for!

Congrats Debra!  Keep up the good work and thanks for inspiring me. 

I want to lose 20 lbs. soooo bad!  I’m struggling to keep my calories down and my exercise up!  The exercise is not going well right now.  I’ve tried to get back to my routine of core strengthening but it’s not working out yet.  I’m 9 weeks post TT but my abs feel like they are ripping apart when I exercise them.  And I have a small pinhole in my incision line that opened up after doing core exercises a couple days ago.  That stuff scares me, thinking I might undo the muscle tightening and cause my incision to split and cause a wide scar.  I will add more walking for now and try the core again in a few weeks.

Angela:

I have been following your menu.  Are you not having any luck losing?  Are you just maintaining right now?  I still can not do core exercises.  I feel like my insides will split.  Right now, I am just a daily walker and I seen to be maintaining instead of losing.  I am up ten pounds in weight but all my clothes are loose.  Right now I would just like to get back to 157 and stay there.

I stray sometimes from my plan in the evenings and I had an awful out of control weekend. My weight stay 184-186 most of the time so I'm at least maintaining this weight but want to be 165. I've got to get more determined and find the strength to resist evening snacking.

Hazy, Hot & Humid. I hear our early afternoon thunderstorm rumbling outside. Just when you think it's as muggy as it can possible get....it rains. This flower is beginning to wilt in this summer heat. I love it when I can either be at the beach or in the sound swimming and playing. Not so much a "Love" relationship during the work week.

Had my hubby all to myself this weekend. It was so nice but I missed "our" boy like crazy. I was so glad to get him back from his Mom's last night. Lots of stuff going on this week. Busy is good.

Breakfast:  Banana Protein Shake

Lunch:       PB&J Sandwich

Dinner:       Steamed crabs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My ultimate FAVORITE food

 

Exercise for the day is looking like a Wii night. It should be storming just about the time I finish getting dinner on the table. If the rain holds off I'm going to try for a walk through the neighborhood. Got those vitamins and meds in. Slurping the decaf unsweet tea like a maniac.

I did notice the past few days that eating breakfast at home before I hit the road for work has had a really nice impact....I don't spend the morning at work looking for snacks and/or mindless eating. hmmmmmmm....
