5 day pouch test
I have done it... and yes I lost weight when I did it. What is the really important part is to MODIFY your eating habits afterward!!! If those changes aren't made, nothing changes.. basically the pouch test is like a mini crash diet. The real help comes in changing your eating habits, with exercise too!
The five day pouch test for me was a way to detox off of sugar. I think I lost five pounds during that week which was a jump start to starting my back to basics plan to get back on track with eating correctly. Some folks do not lose more than a pound if they are already close to their goal weight but those of us who have had a regain can lose between 4-8 pounds, respectively. Mainly though, it is a way for you to get the sugar out of your system, then your cravings subside greatly and you can eat more normally and be satisfied with less of an amount of food.
