Lets talk bras!

Have any of you actually been to a bra fitting?  As we lose weight and tuck in extra skin, it becomes a guessing game on what is the proper size that you wear.  I actually got fitted over the weekend and went from a "sad" looking 38 C with that side fat hanging out to a 36 DD with no side fat!  Girls, let me tell you, I have guns now!  I think I can go fit in at "Hooters".  If you have not done this, please do.  It really has made my clothes look and feel so much better.  My hubby is just amazed and can't stop looking!

We actually have a store in my home town call The Bra Lady and I got a fitting there.  I ended up with a Bali's lift bra, it has like wings under the outer cup of the bra and lifts you up and secures that underarm fat.  I went by JC Penney's this week and they were on sale for $21.99 each and I bought 3 of them.  I am normally a Vanity Fair kind of girl but I been having trouble finding a style that would work for me lately.  I was really starting to get intimidated by bras.  I was so excited this weekend with this find.  I feel like a totally new woman.  It is definitely a great feeling.

I had that done in the past.  Now - I am anything from 36DD - 38C- 38D..
It depends on the brand and the design.

When I am looking for a new bra - I get 20+ into the dressing room..  I had Breast lift so that makes it easier for me to find good bra..

I know what you mean about taking in 20 at a time but I was not having any luck and really was starting to feel deformed in a way.  Nothing was feeling good or looking good on me.  This Bali lift bra really is great for me.

I have few that I love.  Some that I loved at the beginning but after wearing for a few hours - I understand why some woman burned them. LOL..

I bought 2 sport bras from Costco - the "no wire" style..  I like them.. I can do yoga and they stay put.

If you find one that you love and can wear for hours.. -  note the brand - the design # or name. Wear it a few days.  Wash a couple of times.. if it still fits good - look for more same design on line (cheaper).

I still hate bras.. The moment I am home - that thing is off...

It is amazing the difference a good bra can make. And it's also amazing how sizes flucuate between brands/designers. Very noticeably on undergarments. I hate, hate, hate shopping for them. I just bent the hook on one of myfavorites and I know it's time to replace several of them dang things. YUCK!!!

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I went to four separate stores to try on bras.  I eventually got so intimidated by the process that I quit.  I decided that I needed to know exactly what I was looking for.  And, you are right about sizes, a 36 C in one brand may be a 38 D in another.  Trial and error.  When I find the bra that fits, I always buy in threes.
