Hi Botters:

 

Been a busy morning and just now had time to get on the computer.  My eats for today are:

 

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Breakfast #2:  Protein Shake

Snack:  Vitatop Brownie

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Grapes

Dinner:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vanilla Protein Pudding

 

Exercise: 2.5 miles around the neighborhood.  Where is Debra?  I have been up at 5:30 AM for four mornings in a row walking.  Yay me!  Have an awesome day and weekend and remember those vits and fluids.  See you on Monday.

Great job Tess... Yea I also wonder about Debra.. she was in a fund all July Hope August is better for her. 

As for me - lass and gain the same 2 lbs.. .. the motivation and the energy is just not there.   But I think I am getting motivated.. 

Last few weeks my back has been killing me so I know I need to tone and strengthen the back muscle.  Being top heavy - my back was always first to "cry out in pain" when I would get out of shape (not enough exercise) 

The back-fat is also showing more lately.  Time for diet and exercise.

Next 3 weeks I plan to go to yoga least 3 times a week - and beside tat walk up to 10,000 steps a day. (3,000 on days with yoga)..

Planning to go to yoga after work - also means that I can't eat food that may cause gas - so I do plan to have 4 x 150 cal (20-25 gr of proteins) daily plus  2 meals/snacks for total of 1000-1200 cal per day.   If that will not work - I am not sure what will.. Next 3 weeks will show. 

I do hope to go on vacation last week in August - so I hope I can be "beach body ready" . 

Eats today: (already on the plan) 
Coffee x 2
proteins shake x2 
home made egg drop soup (3 eggs) = 210 cal
​coffee + almond milk

Yoga ( then walking downtown) 

proteins shake (after yoga)

dinner: not sure - going out... (but plan fish or meat plus veggies) 

LNS: proteins shake or yogurt with proteins

I do not have my pedometer today  - but I will start wearing that tomorrow...

So sorry about your back issue.  Go luck on your August plan.  You can work it, I know you can.  You will be "beach body ready" and have a grand old time!

Better start to my day today so I'm a little less evil (as far as the carbs are concerned). My DEAR husband has taken the "what's mine is yours" thing just a bit to far and given me his poison ivy. OMG!!!! I haven't had this itchy, blistery discomfort since I was probably 9 years old. I hope the over the counter stuff that I pick up on the way home works so I can stay away from prednisone.

Commute:   peanut butter flavored protein bar & 1/2 small coffee

Breakfast:   Scrambled egg

Lunch:      Chicken & Broccoli    (not very agreeable to the pouch today)

Dinner:      Going out tonight ---planning on fish tacos

Gotta go get some school supplies for our boy. He starts the early college program on Thursday. Miss Priss turns 9 on Sunday so I've got to do the last minute birthday shopping for her(she's changed her mind at least 6 times on what she absolutely has to have). The poor dog is out of treats and has managed to break her retractable leash. So it looks like several laps around Wal-Mart are on my immediate agenda for tonight's exercise.

Bless your heart about the poison ivy.  I nagged my husband to pull some weeds out of my flower bed and low and behold he got poison ivy.  It was a nightmare for my hubby for about ten days.  Needless to say, he want go near my flower beds anymore...

Good evening, BOTT friends,

 

Short post tonight...tired and no workout today either, but will compensate this weekend.  Today I ate:

 

B:  shake made with vanilla protein powder, 1/2 c 1% milk, 1.5 tbsps peanut butter and 2.5 tbsps light half & half (lots of ice and blended)

L:  Iceberg lettuce salad with 4 ozs grilled chicken breast, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 apple,  2 tbsps light ranch dressing

S:  1 oz mixed nuts, McDonald's SF french vanilla iced coffee with 3 tbsps light half & half added

D:  4.5 oz lean beef burger on sandwich thin, mustard, 1.5 tbsps ketchup, dill pickle slices

Thanks for posting over the weekend.  I just wanted to take the weekends off from doing it.  Also, I wanted to tell you that you are making excellent choices on your foods each day.  You are doing really great!

No prob, Tess.  I know it must take a lot of your time and effort to post the daily C&C, AND respond to everyone's posts.  You deserve to take time off whenever you can.  As you know, at least one of us will follow through in your absence, but we still miss you :)  Thank you for the compliments!!  I'm trying, and I'm getting results.  Finally!!!!  I have found my way, and there is a big bright light at the end of the tunnel!
