Fatty Liver

Does anyone else have a fatty liver due to rapid weight loss? IF so, what are you doing about it? I just had a partial hysterectomy Wednesday and the surgeon told my family I had a fatty liver. My family goggled it and it said it could be caused by rapid weight loss.  Any  info would be appreciated!  Thank you.

I always thought that weight loss helps with fatty liver and not that it may cause that. This is first I hear. Have you spoken tho a doc ?

The only time I remember hearing about the fatty liver was prior to surgery and the reason that surgeons had us do the pre-op diet was to shrink the fatty liver. I'd talk to the doc about it.
