Back On Track Together
Friday, July 19th, Cardio & Cafe
Good Morning Botters:
I did two runs around Walmart yesterday and a few stomach crunches at three red lights, I think I am good to go. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Grapes
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Cheese & Crackers
Dinner: Fish Filet baked in the oven
Snack: Vanilla Protein Pudding with SF Cool Whip
Exercise: I am punching out a second level barn home today and I will be climbing 22 steps probably 4-6 times today. That will be a good sweat! (barn home you asked? My contractor built a two level barn with wings for a young couple who just got married. The husband has the downstairs for his man cave and deer skinning rooms and the wife has the second level as their home, 1200 sft. with two bedrooms and master bath and a balcony porch overlooking 10 acres of beautiful woods.)
Have a great Friday everyone and remember those vits and fluids! Chat with you again on Monday.
lol... The barn was probably very mean to Tess or someone close to her...lol.. good catch...

Good Morning!!! The first 2 weeks of marriage have been so good that I'm headed out of town after work for a girls weekend at the BEACH. Love my man....but I need my girls. He loves my friends almost as much as I do so it's a wonderful thing. Maybe it's because I was young and may have handled things poorly but my 1st husband was EXTREMELY distrustful and jealous of my friends.
I'm sucking down the decaf tea as if it's about to be outlawed. It's hot and humid here today. Vitamins and meds are taken care of for the morning. Eats are going according to plan. It's going to be a great day!!!!!
COmmute: COFFEE!!!
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with ham & cheese
Lunch: Chicken Salad, tomatoes & cantaloupe
snack: Yogurt & Bear naked granola cereal
Dinner: Out w/ the girls ---most likely mexican so I'll go the Fish taco route
Dessert: 1 lg. Sangria

Ouch.. wish I could have that - I dump like a truck with that... even semi-sweet wines makes me sick.

Isn't it funny what bothers one of us will have no effect on others? Sugars don't bother me. Milk sugars have me begging for a quick death. Rice & Pasta ---OMG!!! I'm like the little guy on Fantasty Island except I'm screaming "De Pain. De Pain"
I was given a very, very nice bottle of Muscato for a wedding gift. I can't wait to pop the cork on that. Thinkig we'll save it for a girls weekend this fall in the mountains. (David diesn't drink)

Good evening, BOTT friends,
TGIF!! Daughter off for 3 days this weekend, which means no babysitting. I have a lot of paperwork to do in preparation for a phone conference next week, so I really need some time to mysel***** my bike workout done earlier today, 43 mins covering 5.1 miles. I had planned to do another tonight, but went to my mom's instead. So one will have to suffice as it is late and I need some rest. Today I ate my second piece of fried food since February. It was a piece of just caught flounder (the first was a fried soft shell crab in June), and frying is the only way to do it justice, IMO. My eats for today were:
B: vanilla protein shake with SF French vanilla International coffee, 2 tbsps low fat half & half, lots of crushed ice
L: 6 ozs pan-fried fresh flounder filet, 1 c cooked kale
D: 4 1/2 ozs low sodium deli ham on sandwich thin, mustard, lettuce, tomato
S: fresh peach
Goodnight friends :)
