Hugs., it is a challenge..but you can lose weight...
As for feeling like crap ? Mentally or physically ? When you had last time Full lab work ? It is critical to make sure your test results are not only normal but better than normal.

Hi Kizzy:

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding and still managing to keep a hundred pounds off.  Now you have a new game plan.  It wont be as easy to lose as it was the first time but you can do it.  Your pouch is still there waiting to be used properly.  Start journaling your foods, reduce your calories back to 800-1200 calories a day, increasing your proteins to 80-120 gram range and decrease your carbs to below 100 net (50 net is optima)  Avoid all white foods! (flour, sugar, starches, such as:  Breads, sweets, pastas, potatoes, and corn are all bad foods for now) Do not drink with your meals and wait 30 minutes afterwards before you start to drink again.  Get out and walk somewhere, anywhere for 30 minutes a day or do a cardio that you like for just 30 minutes a day and work up to a hour a day for the greatest results.  If you are not on a regular vitamin regiment, get on one now!  This will make you feel so much better too.  This will work, I am proof of that.  I did this and lost 70 lbs. in 8 months.  You can to!  Come here daily and see what people are eating and doing.  Post your own when you feel comfortable to.  We are all here to support you in whatever way you need.  Good luck to you!

Welcome to the group! If you can lose 200 pounds, thrive after a divorce, and overcome alcoholism, you have the strength and determination to do the work needed to lose the 100 pounds of regain !

Congrats with dealing with your alcohol problem, like obesity it never leaves but can be defeated by working on it daily!  You can do this, have faith in yourself.  Tess has given you great advice as usual, join us here regularly and get inspired. I felt, and still feel, like crap too! But when I eat on plan, I feel much better.  For example I had severe pain recently in my bowels.  We still don't exactly know why, but I stopped all sugar, no Splenda, and really limited my dairy and I am doing much better, they think it could be irritable bowel, so long story short, if we go outside what we know to be good for our revised innards, we do physically and mentally feel like crap :-)   Do your labs, get in your vitamins, do what Tess said and let us know how  are doing! We believe you can do it, hugs.

Get BACK 2 BASICS!  I recommitted myself to the WLS way of life a week ago and my TOOL is working for me!
Initial changes I made:
1.  stop drinking while eating and wait at least 30 minutes after to drink.
2.  restart an exercise program moving at least 30 minutes a day.
3.  write down everything you put in your mouth.

Good luck!

Keep posting here and let us know how you're managing!
