Sounds like a great weekend, Tess.  Looks like everyone was busy...no C&C for Sunday.  I waited too long to go back online, and didn't get a chance to start it and post for yesterday.  I got a bike workout in for 33 mins, covering 4.1 miles.  My eats were:

B:  2 eggs and 2 ozs crab meat (scrambled), sandwich thin, 1 tbsp light butter sub

L:  1 c tuna salad, 1/2 c fresh strawberries

D:  6 ozs grilled sirloin with onions and mushrooms, iceberg lettuce, 1 tbsp light ranch dressing

S:  1 c fresh strawberries

I admire the way you go right back into carb detox when you need to.  You're a great role model for this board.

Thank you ma'am.  I look at it as one day out of a life of many days.  I always feel so much better on the second day after detoxing too!

Yea.. what Shelia said.. You are a great role model Tess.

I am doing OK.  Food wise - I can't cheat even if I wanted to. But alcohol - that is another story. I don't get drank - but just one glass of wine makes me feel funny..

This week is a short week of long days ... we decided to work 3 x 10 hrs shifts and maybe even 4 days x 10 hrs/. we are busy.

At the same time I had to let go of a temp person today... she was very nice, but she was not cut out for our office.  i hate to be the one that has to let people go...

Adding to my stress, an ex BF, still a friend died in a plain crash and that hit me harder that I expected. He was a very funny, full of life, with passion for life person.  He will be missed.

I do plan to work, eat right and need to exercise.. I do plan to survive this week

So sorry for the loss of your friend.  It is so hard when it is sudden like that.  I have only had to let one person go and it sucks, big time.  I feel your stress!  Just survive this week and it will hopefully be better next week.  Sending you sweet prayers.

Good evening, BOTT friends,

H.a.l.a....my condolences on the loss of your friend.  Such a tragic death.

Today was a little better pain wise since starting on the muscle relaxants.  MRI tomorrow and hopefully, I will have some answers on the cause of this upper back pain.  I did get a bike workout done this evening, 40 minutes covering 5 miles.  I am also down another pound, and that's great news and very motivating to me.  Today I ate:

B:  1 egg + 1/2 c eggbeaters, 4 strips turkey bacon, 1 c fresh strawberries

L:  2 ozs leftover lean beef burger (plain with no bun), 1/2 c edamame

S:  1 1/2 c cantaloupe, 1/4 c strawberries

D:  1 c crab salad made with light mayo, lettuce, tomato

S:  1/2 Quest protein bar

Goodnight friends :)

Awesome on the 2.3 lbs loss, Tigs!  12 lbs to go, and Tess has 7 to go.  I'll be right behind you two, give or take a few months :)
