Getting control and being low carb!

I have been away for far too long. In Feb this year I made up my mind to stop toying with the hope that I needed to get back together and started actually doing it, low carb and exercise style.

Here is what I do and I have to be strict with myself to make it easier, I know funny right?!

I am accountable for everything I eat, don't eat and exercise. I know that if I want results I HAVE TO DO THE WORK.

I know that I can turn the day around anytime I CHOOSE TO. If I eat something I shouldn't I say that was dumb and turn it around and don't let it ruin your day. You have the option to turn it around as well. :D  When I finally realized this it was a break through. Instead of saying OK Ill start fresh tomorrow I allowed myself to keep eating bad and excused myself from exercise for that day. WHY? Because I created an excuse.

I eat very low carb. I take my total carbs minus any dietary fiber and unless its under 7 carbs I don't eat it. I keep my calories to about 1200 a day which is plenty of food when you are eating low carb and relying heavily on vegetables and lean proteins.

WATER WATER WATER. Little sodium as I swell very easy.

I have to do at least 30 min of moderate intensity exercise daily, yes daily. Some days it really stinks but in the end I have to do it to get MY results.

We can all do this, we just have to get in the right mindset and push through, yes you will have some bad food choices and yes some days you wont exercise but DO NOT LET THAT RUIN YOUR WHOLE DAY!

When I feel blah or crabby or just generally bad I say "Turn it around and make it better"

If you need support and someone to keep ya motivated here I am. We stand a better chance at success together than alone.

Cheers!

Jess
