Hey Tess. Glad to see you are slowly recovering. Good sleep is so important. That part I have no problem most of the time. The waking up is my issue.
As for me - things are slowly changing. The hormonal supplements really helps with some energy and my BS.
As for my belly pain - I finally saw my surgeon and he agreed to do lap exploratory surgery to see what is going on. Most days - if I don't eat I am fine, but solid food hurts later the same day and the next day.
It may be hernia or adhesions or twists or... nothing physical - like food allergy or IBS. As weird as it is - I do hope it is something "physical" the doc can just fix and I can eat real food again.
On a very good not e- my lob work was very good. I asked the doc for a very detailed lab work and all my numbers (that I got so far) are really good. My only issue is ferritin - it is still good, 85, but 9 months ago - ferritin was 195. So drop of 110 points in less than one year is not cool. But then- I did have a lot of lab work done (endo, hormonal, etc) so part of it is just my body trying to rebuild itself. (I hope).
I do drink protein shakes, eat PB, and some nuts and cheese . Home made egg drop soup is also very good. I also found out that a half avocado with some salsa and little bit if shredded cheese (2/3 cup total) did not upset my belly that much...
I asked the doc if I should just have drinks or I should eat - he suggested that anything that I want- need - and if there is a narrowing - eating and having some "volume " in my insides may help him find out where it is? (like a stuffed sausage??? lol..)
So Monday is the day. I know I will be fine.. Have fun ladies...

Hi Hala:
I know you will be fine too! I hope they can find the reason for your discomfort in eating and I hope it is an easy fix. We never want anything to be wrong but at the same time we are looking for reasons that it is not working. Let us hear from you as soon as possible and I will keep you in my prayers.
