This is a shorty!  I am 1 lb closer!! I am down another pound!! yeah me...This is the longest I have continued to eat correctly, to eat foods that fuel my body instead of fueling my cravings.  Everyone please continue to focus on the positive things you do each day instead of your failures...(I had a failure I ate 1 cupcake in which a serving size was 3 cupcakes which would have been 280 calories...but it was CHOCOLATE and I had not had any in months  The amazing thing, while it did taste good as chocolate always does, it was not the magic nectar that I dream it is....hahahahhahaha  Everyone have a great day!

Same here, Debra....this is the longest for me since losing my original weight post -op.  This board had worked magic for me by making me accountable.  I still won't "re-visit" foods that have made me backslide in the past, but I'm alright with that.  I certainly have not missed them.  I think I've finally formed healthy habits in eating and exercise, and it didn't happen until I found BOTT.

BTW, Tess...have you noticed how postings have increased since your sunny smile returned to the page :)

Keep on keeping on, Debra, and best wishes to everyone in the struggle to regain and keep in control.

It's basically a 5 day plan to break away from sugar and carbs. You recreate the progression through the food stages post-surgery but in 5 days. First 2 days are protein liquid protein, day 3 is soft protein, day 4 is firm protein, and day 5 is solid protein. The best resource is the following website:

Thats so funny you mentioned how good you thought it would have tasted,

A few weeks ago a co worker and i were talking about this huge box of Sarris chocolates a vendor brought in and I made the comment about how bad I wanted one, and she says yea you could but it would only be good for one hot second and you would feel guilty all day. I dont think the taste is worth the price you will pay.

So now I say when I hit a craving that I know will leave me disappointed its only good for a hot second and not worth the feeling of guilt.

Congrats to another lb gone.
