Good evening, BOTT friends. No postings yet for today. Hope everyone had a nice, safe holiday weekend. And I hope everyone found some time during your holiday activities to stop and remember those who have gone on and left us behind, whether through wartime or not. It's a solemn holiday, and one to be treasured and honored always.
I spent time with family today...barbecuing and having a great time. I stayed true to my eating plan, avoiding lots of high carb, high fat and sweet comfort foods. When I was done eating, I then spent 95 minutes cycling on my recumbent bike, covering 9.8 miles while conversing with everyone and watching movies. Had a great time! Today I ate:
B: protein shake made with coffee, 2 creamers
L: 1c leftover marinara sauce with lean beef, 1/3 c shirataki noodles (Miracle Noodles)
D: 1 low sodium hotdog (no bun) with mustard only, 1 small bbq chicken leg (skinless), 2 tbsps baked beans, 2 deviled egg halves
S: 1c fresh strawberries
Since we ate rather early, if I feel hunger later tonight, I might eat my 4 oz lean burger that I didn't eat earlier, on a sandwich thin with mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup and dill slices
